This was probably the most comfortable studio I've ever stayed in Paris. The water was hot, the walk in closet let me put all my luggage and clothes out of sight, I could cook and do laundry, and it had a shower/tub combo. It is 4 flights of stairs, but this is Paris, and Annie taking the luggage upstairs and down via a separate elevator was much appt. I have had to drag luggage up stairs before at other places, and was very glad she was able to do that at check in and check out. Also Annie was lovely, helpful and very responsive. I was extremely satisfied with my stay here. And the location was very central!

Nice host and perfect location

Location! Location! Location! We were in the heart of Saint-Germain des Pres, minutes from Musee D’Orsay, The Louvre, Tuileries, Notre Dane, Jazz clubs across the Seine, and so much more. Plus the metro was right around the corner. In the apt were guide books including a notebook with suggested excellent neighborhood restaurants all very close by. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Nespresso machine and pods were welcome touch and we easily bought more pods nearby. Somehow we missed that this was a fourth floor walk-up so for a couple in our 70s, it was a workout that we quickly adjusted to. :) . To make it so much more pleasant, Annie brought our bags up and down for us - so no complaints. Oh, and we loved the combo washer-dryer! Being able to do laundry was a big plus. If you’re looking for an apartment incredibly conveniently located, this is for you. We spent a week here and saw lots by foot and lots via the metro.

Gem in St Germain

This property is ideally located in the sixth arrondissent St Germain. Annie is very helpful during check-in and check-out with luggage. she is available immediately anytime we needed anything. It is on a walk up, but that makes it very quiet. The bed is large for Europe and so is the closet. She provided Nespresso pods for coffee and everything was spotless.

Wonderful accommodations in an amazing location

My daughter and I spent a wonderful 5 nights in this charming apartment. The host, Annie, is a delight and made our stay so pleasant! The apartment is on the 4th floor, but Annie helped us by bringing our luggage by elevator at both our arrival and departure. The apartment is so comfortable and had everything we could have needed during our stay. Lastly, I can't say enough good things about the location of this apartment. We loved the neighborhood, and you are within easy walking distance of so many attractions! Also there are several Metro stations close by. If I return to Paris I will absolutely hope to stay here again! Merci, Annie!

Location, Location, Location!

C’etait magnifique! This is truly the best location and one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Paris. Close to all sights, restaurants and shops. Annie was a terrific host, with excellent communication before and during our stay. Her apartment is immaculate and pin-drop quiet. Bed is comfortable and shower quite modern by Paris standards, with plenty of hot water and excellent pressure. Kitchen is well-equipped for a quick meal. We would definitely return. Thank you for hosting us, Annie.

Amazing VRBO! Highly recommended

We spent two weeks in Europe and one of those in Paris. It was the nicest VRBO, every inch was super clean Staying there was like staying with a friend! We had everything that we needed and the owner was accessible for whatever assistance we required. The location is great very safe with tons of shopping restaurants. It is a few flights up, but the owner will help take your luggage up and a Lyft

Perfect location

Very close to the metro, so it's easy to get to. Everything you need for cooking meals in, grocery store nearby. Extremely clean.Annie, the host is extremely nice and helpful, getting your luggage to and from the apartment .Please realize that you are staying in an apartment, so it's going to be different from a hotel. And it is four flights of stairs up, which isn't as bad as it sounds. We were able to manage without difficulty.I would definitely stay here again

You Will Love It

The apartment was everything I had hoped for. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe, beautiful, and although it looks expensive, I found even the nicest places I ate at were affordable. Annie, the hostess, is more than willing to help with anything you need. She is a charming and proud French woman who sincerely wants you to Paris!

What impressed us the most about this apartment was its location. It is within walking distance to many iconic sites in Paris…Jardin du Luxembourg , Eiffel Tower, Norte Dame, Musée D’Orsay, the Seine, many sites on the right bank, etc etc. There are two metro stations only a 5 minute walk away for sites further afield. There are numerous restaurants both obscure and familiar, French and more exotic ( Japanese,Korean, etc). There is tons of shopping including art galleries, clothing boutiques and of course a few grocery stores and boulangeries. The list can go on with many cathedrals worth visiting as well as museums. The apartment it self is cozy with an equipped but small kitchen that is against the wall in the hallway which leads to the front door and the toilet portion of the bathroom. The separate bathroom is just that a bath/tub and sink. It is off of the bedroom which also includes a table and two chairs for dining. Regarding opinion of comfort and agreeability, the apartment could use better lighting, the bathroom needs a step ladder or hand rail for getting into the tub as it is quite high off the floor and lastly the chairs at the dining table could be more comfortable. Annie the proprietor is friendly, available and ready to please. We enjoyed our stay here.

Excellation Location

The location was perfect for our requirements, Annie was a fantastic host, she couldn’t have been nicer and or more helpful. We were unaware there was 4 flights of steps and although this is probably not an issue for most people at times it stopped us coming and going more often.

Olympics

We came to watch Olympics and to explore the city of Paris. Annie’s place was perfect for 2. Had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. As previous reviews have said, there are a lot of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Great location that felt right in the heart of restaurants and metro stations yet the apartment faces onto a quiet and safe courtyard. Very peaceful. Cannot say enough about how great this apartment location was and we did not want for anything more!

We had a wonderful five night stay in this charming apartment that had a large comfortable bed and efficiency kitchen. Nice bathroom with shower and sink; a second one with sink and commode. The shower/tub combo is great for baths and a little narrow as showers go but perfectly functional.The apartment was very clean and well cared for. Annie was super helpful, providing nice recommendations for food in writing and for touring when we asked. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone or any couple as long as they were good with stairs. Annie was very helpful though with the stairs on arrival—she got our luggage up, and we didn’t accept the offer to bring our luggage down at the end of our stay because we didn’t have a lot to carry. In any case, I would gladly stay again because of the location, the homey feel of the apartment, and Annie’s hospitality.

Great stay!

Thanks to Annie for a great stay in Paris! The flat is in a spectacular location in the heart of St Germain. Annie is an excellent host, very helpful and friendly. The flat is exactly as advertised, with a small but entirely serviceable kitchenette and split bathroom. The shower is very new and works great, but might be a tight squeeze if you are tall. My only reservation about this location is that you must have the fitness for four flights of stairs, which are daunting at the end of a long day of sightseeing (and a deterrent to popping out in the morning for fresh croissants). Annie will bring the bags up/down in the secret elevator, thank goodness. One special shoutout to the housekeeper, who helped us get a taxi upon our departure—merci a vous.

I stayed in Annie's flat with kitchen for 8 nights. Our room was on the fourth floor, but Annie carried our luggage by elevator. It is very quiet, despite being in the city. However, one has to go up a spiral staircase. The flat is very well served by transport, with a metro station and bus stop very close by. There are many trendy shops around, and supermarkets and bakeries for daily life are also nearby. It was possible to walk to the Louvre and Orsay and take a relaxing walk along the Seine riverside. We also walked to several famous churches. Annie is a very nice Parisian madame. She is full of hospitality and celebrated our 50 years of marriage. If we ever go to Paris again, we would like to stay there again.

Wonderful stay in Paris

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Paris at Annie’s place. She was so welcoming and friendly. She took our bags up and down her elevator, so we wouldn’t have to lug them up and down 4 flights of stairs. Her place was very clean and had a great closet to keep all of our clothes and our suitcases out of the way. Best of all the location of her place is perfect! It is in such a great area with great cafes and restaurants and shopping. Lots of art galleries as well. We walked everywhere, but the metro station is very close if you need it. Super close to the Seine and Louvre, as well as other museums and beautiful gardens. We had a wonderful stay and Annie gave us great recommendations of places to eat and visit. We had the chance to get to know Annie a little more at coffee near the end of our trip and that was just wonderful! Can’t wait to be able to visit again! I would definitely recommend!

Cozy Winter Getaway in St Germain

This was a cozy apartment with everything we needed. The host was amazing and helped us with our bags on check-in and check-out. There was a large walk-in closet for our suitcases and clothes for the week. We loved the book-lined walls and the plush reading chair--it was the perfect place to sit after a long day. In terms of the apartment layout, there is a galley kitchen with all the necessities (refrigerator, washer/dryer, sink, microwave, stovetop). The bathroom amenities are split in the layout. The toilet is separate from the sink and shower. The shower is triangle-shaped, so you cannot necessarily stand under the showerhead comfortably depending on your size; however, this was not an issue for us--great water pressure and hot water. As for the location, it was perfectly situated in the beautiful St Germain de Pres. We were within walking distance of so many lovely cafes and restaurants. If this apartment is available during our next trip, we will return.

Wonderful flat and hostess.

Annie’s flat was perfect for our month long stay in Paris. The location is central to many museums, parks, restaurants, groceries, pharmacies, as well as the famed Boulevard St. Germain, where the shopping and window shopping is wonderful. So many places are within easy walking distance, and for venturing further, there is a nearby Metro stop. Taxis are easy to find also. The rental is a studio, but has a large space feeling to it. It was clean and well appointed for all of our needs. I loved the big walk in closet for storing our clothing and suitcases, and the full size bathroom. The kitchen, quite well-equipped, is in an alcove and not in the main room, which also makes the studio feel large. The beds and lounging chairs are very comfortable. The studio faces a very quiet courtyard, although we could hear the evening bells from a nearby church- we loved that! We slept well every night. . Annie is a wonderful hostess. She helped us with our luggage upon arrival and leaving, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. She suggested restaurants, pattisseries, and museums for us. We loved getting to know her and are looking forward to renting from her on our next trip to Paris!
