The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was convenient for exploring Paris with many business and the metro very close to the apartment. Claudine made the check-in hassle-free and provided us with a lot of useful information about the area. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a pleasant place to stay. PS It has a clothes washer!

Claudine is the French auntie you always wanted

Claudine was absolutely lovely, the room was charming and the location was amazing. Claudine got us oriented (in very good English), telling us the nearby resources to make our stay easy. The perfect way to start our trip in France, absolutely recommend this VRBO!

A good value

The apartment is just like the pictures and as mentioned in most reviews Claudine and Ilhame are very welcoming hosts. I stayed for two weeks and was very comfortable. The area is walkable and the nearby metro is convenient to reach other areas.

Charming apartment, Gracious host

The apartment looks just like the photos. The windows open to bustling Montparnasse, sidewalk cafes, bakeries, and shopping. Easy metro access across the street. The apartment has everything you might need. We stayed for a week and prepared food in the kitchen and did some laundry. Wi-Fi signal was strong. At night, the windows and dark curtains kept the place dark and silent for a restful sleep.As others have noted, Claudine is a charming, gracious host. Check in was very easy as she lives in the building. She was prompt in communication through the VRBO app or What'sApp. When asked, she shared her favorite cafes and eateries. The night before we left she gave us great directions for taking the metro to the airport.

Paris Olympics 2024!

Had an amazing stay! The property is a couple hundred feet from the most used metro stop! Making travel and access across Paris and all of the Olympic venues a breeze! Food and night scene is also vibrant! 10/10 would stay here again!

perfect apartment and perfect location

We spent 4 days of our honeymoon in Paris and this apartment was perfect! The location is great and there are many good restaurants close by. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit to Paris.

Montparnasse Apartment

Lovely, retro 4th floor apartment in secure building (stairs, no lift) next to Cafe Montparnasse, overlooking intersection of Blvd Montparnasse and Rue de Rennes. Convenient location next to Metro and bus lines, many nearby restaurants and stores. Claudine was excellent host, very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend.

Great Apartment, Great Location, Great Owner!

The studio apartment was cozy, clean, and well equipped. It is conveniently located with restaurants, supermarkets, and a metro station right outside the apartment building. Claudine, the owner, was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We would gladly stay here again during our next visit to Paris!

Very nice studio in great location

This studio was well-equipped and convenient to many metro and bus lines, stores, and restaurants. The owner, Claudine Drame, lives next door to the studio, and was very nice and helpful. I recommend this studio for your stay in Paris.

Welcoming French charm

- [x] It was our first time in France and we didn’t know what to expect. Claudine started our our trip with a warm welcome, letting us know everything about the apartment and giving us an idea of where we were in relation to all the important landmarks. The apartment is the definition of French charm. It has everything you need to have a nice stay. It is cozy and warm but can be cooled down very quickly by opening the beautiful windows. We will definitely be back.

Great location, cute apartment

This was a spacious, well-kept apartment in a central location. Communication throughout the experience with the host and her assistant was timely. Bed was comfortable and kitchen functional, A few minor issues after check-in were quickly resolved (e.g. needed a sheet). Suggestions would be to leave a binder with neighborhood suggestions for market and restaurants, and fix the bidet. Would stay there again!

A week in Paris- a memory forever

Madam Claudine is delightful, responsive and wants to ensure you have a terrific stay. She was very patient helping me speak French which was a goal of mine. Location on the 3rd floor can be tricky unless you can carry your bags up the stairs. Location great for walking, transportation, shopping and ambiance.

Mme Drame is the perfect host

A roomier apartment than we were expecting. An old, traditional French apartment that had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure great, efficiency kitchen, and soundproof windows! The breakfast counter was a liltle too high for me, but there was a fold up table/chairs that worked perfectly. The washer was efficient and our clothes dried quickly on the rack. We didn't use the t.v., but the internet was great. The location can't be beat - there's a METRO stop about a 30 second walk, and bus stops within a block. This is in great neighborhood with lots of restaurants (Chartier next door), a street with 10 creperies (try Creperie de Josselin), grocery stores (a Monoprix, Franprix), and more. Quick 15 min walk to Luxembourg Jardin. But the best of all is Mme. Drame - she was very responsive before we arrived making sure we were settled, providing recommendations, and even fixing the internet quickly. We had some wonderful discussions with her. We would stay there again on any future trips!

Paris Perfect

We could not have been more delighted with our stay. The location was lively and convenient, close to metro and walkable at all hours. The apartment was charming, more spacious than anticipated for a studio with thoughtful touches making it comfortable. Claudine was very helpful and accommodating of our changing needs and departure plans, communicated quickly. So nice to interact with a charming, friendly and knowledgeable local owner.

Wonderful Vacation

First trip to Paris and Ms. Claudine made us feel at home while away from home. Excellent communication and she quickly responded to all our questions. We loved the apartment, it was beautiful and efficient while the view outside the window gave us a look at the pedestrian activity below. The location was perfect and near the metro so we were able to travel to all parts of Paris easily. The stairs added to our workout so we did not gain weight inspite is eating so much delicious food. Would return back to this rental and appreciate the host.

Perfect Location

This studio apartment is in a perfect location with excellent access to metro, bus, and lots of great restaurants. It is actually within a mile or two of all the most visited tourist attractions - you really can walk everywhere! The landlady (on premise) is charming and very helpful. The only drawback is there is no elevator so if you have trouble with stairs this may not work for you.

Perfect for a "We live in Paris" vibe

The area is amazing. There are so many amazing and famous restaurants, cafes and brasseries. Vibrant, fun neighbourhood. It is easy to get to all the different arrondisemonts in Paris. Claudine's place is quaint and is a very Parisian walk-up style apartment. It had everything we needed and was very safe. It has a little kitchen so could go to the franprix around the corner for baguettes, cheese, snacks, wine, etc. She was warm and kind and gave us all the info we needed, including how to get to her place from the airport and many tips on places to see and neighbourhoods. She also has so many books on Paris, walking tours, maps and other info that were great to look at as we planned our days. The metro and bus will get you everywhere easily and quickly. It was, honestly, perfect for what we wanted our trip to be. We hit all the main tourist sites but also sat in the cafes right downstairs for hours and ate and people watched and strolled to all the local things to see and do. We were there mid July and it was hot, hot, hot, so sundresses and cool clothing are what you need. Claudine's place had a floor fan and quite a nice breeze going through the apartment so sleeping was comfortable even on the hottest days. We can't wait to go back again.

Great stay. Close to metro.

I've stayed in many property rentals in Paris over the years. This is probably the one with the most space that I've had.. Large living area, clean bathroom with shower AND tub - lots of hot water. Washer on site - and air dry rack. The area is busy - and if you want to sleep with the windows open, there is ambient noise, but if you use the fan and keep the windows closed the apartment is quiet and easy to shut out the noise. We didn't hear the neighbours at all. Those we saw in the building were polite and friendly. Lots of food and cafe options nearby. The owner is just across the hall and quickly available if needed. Claudine was very welcoming and a great host! She shared a number of neighbourhood suggestions and tried really hard to find us a van to get back to the airport - but I already arranged an uber - it was just nice that she went out of her way to try and help. Yes - you are on the third floor and there is no elevator, but the stairs are wider than most stairwells in Paris. Kitchen is basic (2 burner stove top and microwave and nespresso and small fridge) and wifi is reliable. TV channels are available but mostly in French, but you are in Paris and TV wasn't on much for us as we were out most of the time. We would definitely stay here again!

I rented Claudine's one-bed studio apartment for my adult son Matthew and his partner to use during our extended family trip to Paris in early July. The apartment is a five minute walk from the Gare Montparnasse and is accordingly close to a wide variety of convenient Paris transportation options. It has all the character of a classical Paris apartment with a separate bathroom with laundry facilities, a small kitchen and a work area. Claudine was very helfpful and accomodating for the check-in process and was in touch during the 6-night rental. The apartment is the perfect Paris location for younger people who have no problem with its third floor location (no lift).George AllenJuly 19, 2025
