Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The apartment is very centrally located, but is next to a number of very popular tourist bars that result in a lot of street noise. The apartment is not at all “spectacular” as advertised. It has the dingy, charmless makeshift layout and furnishings of an improvised student apartment, and the furniture is worn and stained from heavy use. There was good communication from management. The floors, kitchen and bathroom were clean. There was extra linen and towels and the kitchen was basic and functional for a short stay. The lesson we learned again here is: vacation apartments right in the centre of Paris are invariably not as advertised, not worth the money, not necessary, and will always be in demand, like lottery tickets.
