"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 4 friends for a gals wknd. Area was nice, lots to do. Enjoyed the home. Needs some thorough cleaning. Water pressure is not the greatest and very low shower head. However the grounds and shopping in the area made up for it! Advertised as sleeps 9, but only 3 beds and 2 pullouts. Depending on what you are looking for. Definitely great for games and outdoor activities! Plan to return in the future..."

"Overall this property was ok. Our biggest complaints are that after multiple messages, texts & phone calls, we never were able to get a hold of the property manager. We had questions throughout our stay, and a jacket was accidentally left by one of our kids & we cannot get a hold of anyone to try & recover it. This is disappointing! We even called VRBO customer service w to attempt to reach them & they were no help at all either. Second, there are ZERO window coverings, even in the bedrooms....

The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. "This was not a 5 star rating in my opinion, but I would recommend it to others visiting Beaver Dam. We stayed here because of our visit to EAA in Osh Kosh. It was about an hour drive. Beaver Dam doesn’t have much to offer and not much to do. If you’re going for a lake vacation, then it may be nice if you go at the right time of year. Most restaurants in the area and closed and no longer in operation or just bar food. The host provides kayaks and a fire pit but the algae was so dense that the...

"We loved our stay on the lake! The booklet with recommendations were awesome for us never having been to this area! Fox Lake and Beaver Dam were both cool towns to explore! We loved being right on the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying some time out on the kayaks that were provided in the boathouse. Also in the boathouse were a ton of yard games our family had a lot of fun with. We also loved just hanging out around the fire or watching one of the many movies they had. We hope to be back!"

"House is in extreme need of updating and maintenance. Furniture is as little as possible, need mirrors and tables. Paint color and lighting are dark and gloomy. Every drain in the home does not drain properly. The tub/shower has vintage stains in the bottom. The kitchen is outfitted for minimal use with vintage utensils and dishware. Major updating of home and furnishings is needed."
