Ramada Hotel & Convention Center by Wyndham Topeka Downtown
8/10 Good
"Overall it was fine. The breakfast was nice and the process worked. It's a huge property and you can tell it was great during its day. The bathroom was very dated and worn, but was functional. The elevator used was a service elevator because the main ones were nonfunctional . But great staff. I would stay there again."
"Loved how spacious it was. Nice set up. Good location to zoo & the Capitol. Had a Coffee Bar in same location for morning coffee/breakfast. Bed and pillows clean and comfortable."

10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Early check in was allowed seamlessly, zero issues. Room was tidied perfectly, and amenities including those in the room & complementary breakfast were great. Note; I booked the double queen suite, and I definitely recommend it; pretty much anything you could want in there & more. Definitely didn't make use of the dishwasher, and hardly used the full kitchen setup as a whole however it was a very nice inclusion, very nice shower also. Would definitely stay here again!"
"We were in town for a family wedding. The staff was very accommodating with our different requests, late check-ins and assigning us rooms close together. The breakfast was plentiful and had a great variety."
"We traveled from Wisconsin to visit family. The yard in the photos appears clean cut and a great place for games and visits. When we arrived, the yard was overgrown and had garbage around the perimeter - a broken screen and chairs tossed in the overgrown fire pit. The listing states, “let me know if you want to use the fire pit and we will leave wood for you” - I didn’t mention wanting to use the pit because I was unsure of how warm the evenings would be and didn’t want him to go out of his way to leave wood if we didn’t end up using it - well we wouldn’t have been able to anyway with the garbage thrown in it. The WiFi should not be a listed amenity. We were never able to use it which was unfortunate because it was required for some family games we brought to play. Positives - the A/C works amazing and there was plenty of room for us to stay. Walking access to Lake Shawnee was nice. I just felt like for us staying for 4 days, the place would have been better prepared for our arrival. Plenty of parking for my family when they came to visit which was very nice. Overall, we would stay again but would prepare for not having WiFi."
