"I stayed in the Retro Studio and it was perfect for one person. It was spotlessly clean with an amazing, spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. My only criticism is that I was woken up a few times by people moving around upstairs. The kitchenette is good for one person who just needs to grab a slice of toast for breakfast and heat up a ready meal. It would be very cold in the winter as it is in the conservatory. The accommodation is a short walk to the railway station, bus stop, Coop and takeaways. The hosts were super friendly and messaged during my stay to check everything was ok."

"Clean rooms, lived the Earl Grey teas. Breakfast was very good, my wife often ordered from the menu. Staff were attentive, reception always smiled. Grounds were clean, the pool looked inviting, would have definitely used in warmer days. Although the room was very clean the shower was all open plan with the bedroom, which was strange. The sink could have been deeper made shaving difficult. All very modern but not practical. But none of that spoiled our long weekend. Would go again especially as its do close to the Eden Project."

"The location & views can not be beat. It was a 7 min walk into Fowey Town Center from the hotel. The breakfast was good. The views from the bar & restaurant are stunning. We also booked a corner room with a wonderful view. If arriving by car it is best to see if you are able to book/reserve one of their assign parking spaces, directly in front of the hotel, as far in advance as possible. They only have a few parking spaces. Otherwise, you must arrange parking off site. The hotel is full of charm and staff are friendly. We would love to return."

"Outstanding property for our family gathering, three generations, with enough space for everyone. Good communication before our visit made it a hassle-free experience. The kitchen is well equipped and became the hub of the house. There's more than enough to keep everyone occupied indoors; games, dvd, books etc., if the weather is inclement. The gardens & pond were perfect for wee & big kids (like myself). All in all, a perfect place to spend a week. Thanks Sophie, William & Carole."

It was very well located for the Eden project, not far from the main road, spacious with 3 bathrooms and well equipped for a home from home feel. However a car is a necessity and it’s not even feasible to go for a run/ walk from the property as it is surrounded by narrow single track roads"

"Das Haus ist toll, ideal für Ausflüge, alle wichtigen Orte in Cornwall in einer guten Autostunde erreichbar sowie gute Zug- und Busverbindungen. Der kleine Ort ist sehr lebendig und liebenswert, sehr nette Nachbarn. Es gibt einen Pub mit leckerem Essen und vielfältigen Veranstaltungen, einen Fleischer und einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen. Das Haus, die Einrichtung wird jedoch nicht gut gepflegt und die Außenanlagen machen einen verwahrlosten Eindruck. Das ist sehr schade."
