The Grand Lodge by Traverse Hospitality (No Resort Fees)
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very comfortable, well supplied condo. It is well located and the acess is easy. The couch is comfy and the king bed dreamy. I appreciated the magazines about the area and the best wildflower book I’ve seen. Reasonably priced for the spacious condo."
The Lodge at Mountaineer Square, A Vail Resorts Property
8/10 Good
"Our 2 bdr unit was huge and had two balconies as well as an in unit washer-dryer with detergent provided - we enjoyed both of those features. The unit was outdated and could use a refresh but was otherwise good. The one balcony was adjacent to the transit center where buses going to Gunnison and downtown Crested Butte were standing and idling their engines which made it unpleasant to stay out there. The furniture on the balconies was dusty/dirty and not amenable to sit on either. The location is nice, right at the base of the resort and we loved the local trails and vibe. We had to pay additional parking and resort fees which were excessive and not included in the expedia rate."
"We had such a great experience at the Grand Lodge. I've stayed here a few times before and the overall experience has been well worth it. The pool & hot tub are excellent, there's an on-site restaurant for breakfast, and the rooms are comfortable & have all the necessities. There's plenty of on-site parking. Additionally, the Town Shuttle has a pick-up and drop-off at Mountaineer Square, a quick walk from the lobby. Check-in was smooth and easy. We read some reviews about the property being "dated", but that seems unwarranted. 5-stars absolutely! Thank you."
"We live this spot in CB. Great view of the mountain, limited dining variety, staff is kind and helpful. Location is not directly in town but still a great central point for whatever activities you’ve got going on."
Sleeps 23, 8 BR w/ full bath, majestic views on 35 acres, walk to town

"We had an incredible stay at the Big Mine Compound as a family of 23 with my parents, my siblings, and all of our kids. The house was incredible and the views are unmatched! Theresa, the homeowner, and Eric, the manager, were both prompt to respond to anything and were very helpful. Would love to return!"
New!! Relax and enjoy this peaceful, secluded home at the end of the road.
