We were upgraded to a villa after a 2 day booking in deluxe room and then the oceana suite, which we never actually got to see after being upgraded to a villa. We'd had a couple of maintenance issues with a plug socket and then a leaking lavatory in our first room. The villa that we were upgraded to, was lovely, it was great to be able to step just outside into the private lagoon area. The kitchenette is tiny, consists of fridge, kettle and coffee machine with sink, but useful, though the addition of glasses as well as cups would be good, to consume the drinks from fridge, which is repleinshed daily at no cost, with coke, as sprite etc, though coke zero not an option, which I'd disappointing. The staff here are lovely, with a big shout out to the young guy who drove the shuttle, as always smiling. FREE use if kayaks, was great, so many orange and blue starfish to see. The last free shuttle finished back to resort at 20:30 from alona beach area, but it's easily walkable back to resort, we did this most nights. Breakfast had very good selection, though I often found the cappuccino lukewarm and not strong enough, do would order a double espresso to add. Loved going down to the beach steps each evening to see crabs and starfish. Great place, would highly recommended.

This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment they picked me up at the airport to the moment they drop me off I was treated like a king. The accommodations were fantastic I chose the Villa and it was beyond my expectations. The food at the monkey bar was excellent as well. Our villa host Keith was amazing. She made us feel warm and welcomed and helped us with anything we needed. The hotel was just minutes away from Alona beach. The best part is that it wasn’t so crazy like the beach but it was very secluded and quiet. Our room was a two-story Villa with 2 bedrooms. It had a private pool right off of the patio. The property was immaculate and pride showed everybody who worked there. If you were going to stay in Bohol, this is the only place you should consider.

5 stars! You need to get here!
BE GRAND is an awesome resort. Staff is super friendly, room service is great. Our room is was the Oceana suite. The layout of the room was cool. You see the ocean once you walk in. Master room was big with a balcony and the bed was super comfy. Bathroom has windows seperating the toilet from the sinks and walk in shower. The closets are in the hallway with sliding doors that separate the room. Another balcony in the living area as well. The pools were nice overlooking the ocean especially the pools that surround the villas were pretty awesome as well. Breakfast was great, its not a huge buffet but its enough to get your day started. They also have paddle boarding and kayaking as well. Everything was great about this place especially the staff, super friendly! I would recommend this resort to everyone. The only thing that i didn't catch was the tax. The pricing for the rooms were good but pay attention to the tax. But yet again it was worth it.

Me and my girlfriend Enjoyed our stay very much, excelent facilities very clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was excelent. We would definatly stay again and we would recommend BE Grand. We only had one little problem when we had a very long wait for a pizza in the restaurante on our 2nd night there. Stayed for 5 nights at this resort. Leading up to the stay I emailed them 4 times to confirm my booking with no reply. Arrived at the resort with no issues except that I was expecting to pay a 2000 php deposit only to be told it was 20,000 php deposit. Having said that the resort was very clean with good facilities, the rooms were excellent and we enjoyed our stay. They only thing I would suggest is maybe a few evenings some form of live entertainment could be put on to entertain the guests

There is not a single thing I can say was good. The rate was super high, but AC wasn’t working, there was no hot water, rooms were full of pests, towels were dirty. If the staff speaks English they lie, but most don’t speak English. It’s far from the Alona beach ( there is no connection via beach). Food was quite unpleasing as well and if something wasn’t finished one day you could expect it to be reheated the next day. Waiting time for coffe was ca 30-40 min...

great hotel
I Stayed in Hennan hotel 3 nights and BE GRand Resort 3 nights. but I would defenitely stay in this hotel if i ever go to Bohol again. This hotel is 5 min far away from Alona beach by tricycle. But this hotel provide small bus so that it didnt cost anything to get there. However, there were alot of people want to take this hotel transportation, so you should go hurry and stand a line. This hotel also provide kayak, and this is the only hotel rent this kayak for free in Bohol. You could also watch movies outside in front of the beach at night. that was my favorite part about this hotel. Other hotels near Alona beach are little bit expose to noise. but you will defenitely feel safe and traquil moment while you stay here. I didnt even wanna go Alona beach becuz this hotel provide everything including clean private beach. Also this hotel finish room cleaning service while you are having breakfast in the morning. when you came back from breakfast, everything has done. this was the wonderful thing ive never experienced. However they need to consider more of cleaning shower head. you also need to be careful about the water when you take a shower and Turn all the taps on until the red water gives out.

5-star hotel operating like a 2-star hotel
Supposedly a 5-star hotel but operating like a 2-star hotel. Some of the incidences and things as examples: 1. Upon check-in, I find on bedsheet some insects crawling. There were a few and it turns out flying ants were hatching eggs. I requested a room change but the hotel said that there's no room available and will change bedsheets. Bedsheets were changed but they have stains and don't look clean. When I try to sleep and lift blanket, there are hairs in clean bedsheets. 2. The hotel didnt change the room the next day and didn't check on the room conditions either. 3. The hotel insists that gala dinner which is mandatory and almost USD 90 per person is not yet paid. I shows hotels.com booking confirmation with small prints that the room rate includes the gala dinner yet the hotel says that they need to check. Next day, I go back to the hotel reception and nothing has been done on their side to check. Hence I ended up spending another 30 minutes at the reception for them to confirm that the room rate indeed already included the dinner. This would have costed me USD 180 if i didnt catch the small prints!! 4. They only provide bath towels and not hand towels. Never seen a 5-star hotel which only has bath towels and wash clothes. 5. They don't provide facial tissue box and their toilet paper is probably the lowest quality. Overall, their facilities per se may resemble 5-star hotel but they don't operate nothing like 5-star hotel.

A great place to stay. Resort has nice spacious modern rooms, many pools, restaurants, personal beach, and dock. Convenient to other restaurants, stores, and Alona beach. (BE has a beach shuttle) The staff are awesome, very kind and friendly.

I have never stayed at a hotel before where the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It made up for the few power outages. Even they weren’t too inconvenient because the back up generator came on fairly quickly.

A memorable stay, with several blackout and water supply interruption, and not to forget the flushing system. Which I am fully understand on the resource capacity at Bohol, but I am impressed the staff can react well, althought seeing few tourist having the frustration on these issue. Keep going on your work passion, and I am sure to come back if there is the chance, 5 star on the overall.

Property under construction right now. Two of the bars/restaurants are closed. They are painting the new rooms this week and you can smell the paint spray. Price was discounted, probably to reflect the construction.

Best place I've stayed on an overseas trip
This place is amazing, good food, great area awesome staff. Do yourselves a favour and book some time here in a Villa!! Fresh sweets twice a day, prices for restaurants are very reasonable and while the staff are not intrusive they can't do enough for you.

There are many indoor games to choose. The Bridge restaurant is nice. We had a boodle fight dinner there, food was great, very nice presentation! Love it!

It’s peaceful compared with the hustle & bustle of alona. They have a shuttle to go there too. Seafood buffet is good! Heated pool is awesome! Friendly & caring staff!

Nice resort. But its run down and needs a lot of work. Lots of simple problems like toilets not filling. Exposed wires in all areas around the pool and shore area. Poor service in some bar areas. Over priced food and drinks and laundry. For the cost of 1 shirt at the resort we got 3 kg of Landry done in the local area. If you have little kids its not the resort i would take them

Very disappointing
My family has lived in Bohol for 7 years not and every year my wife and I take a getaway for a week. Every time we do this we bring the children over for one day and just 2 hours to swim and enjoy the resort also. We always have to pay a fee which I understand. BE Grand Restort however is the only resort we have stayed at in the past 7 years that charge 999 per child for just 2 hours of swimming. They also will not allow them to swim after 5pm. The children are in school until 4pm. I understanding charging a higher fee for non guests but why 999 per child for a quest who is staying 4 nights? Needless to say we will never be staying at BE Grand Resort again and I will not recommend this resort to anyone else ever again. I'm only sorry we chose the wrong place before we knew their policy. I'm also sorry becauseI have been referring friends to this resort not knowing their "lack" of loyalty to their guests.

Our day-use promotional rate at Php 999.00 per adult is offered for all non in-house guests/adult. 50% discount is given to children age 5-12 years old and guests aged 13 years old and above are considered as adult with 100% of the rate paid is consumable for dining credits. While extension of the duration of usage of the day-use may be granted at the discretion of the resort, especially for guests who are visiting in-house families, we were unable to extend child's rate for teenagers, Michael. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean, the food was decent, and the gym was nice. Overall, I'll definitely be staying there again on my next visit. Three drawbacks: the water isn't clean, but that's sort of to be expected on a small island and they do warn you about the water; also, the water for the shower is mildly warm at best; and for regular customers, you're only allowed to swim in the murky green colored pool. But again, for all the small complaints, it's definitely the best bang for your buck! Except for the bars, they're grossly overpriced and serve watered-down drinks, which is about par for almost every other bar around Alona Beach.

WiFi is broken for Whole day and overnight. In addition to WiFi, the signal of cell phone is also very poor. Thus, I cannot contact others for 24 hours. When we came back to our room after a day tour at 4:00pm, our room was not cleaned.

Dear Peter, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience experienced with our WiFi and the mobile connection on this side of the island. We are currently working with the service provider in terms of the WiFi connection as we empathise on the importance of having internet, most especially for our guests. With the cellular signal, there are areas on the island that has little to no coverage depending on your service provider, Peter, and we have also raised this to the telecommunications companies. Daily housekeeping is provided in the rooms unless rooms' "Do Not Disturb" switch has been activated in respective guest rooms. We do apologise for this and have debriefed our housekeeping department to double-check rooms with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on via phone call or note should guests are ready to have their rooms cleaned.
