This property is within the Tucan Country Club and Golf Course resort area west of the Puenta de Americas bridge, which means adding substantial extra time going back and forth from Panama City. (eg Monday morning it took nearly 1 hr to get to the city at 8am; this got better as the week progressed, but make sure to budget that time appropriately. The minimum travel time was 20 minutes in either direction). It is very close to Panama Pacifico Airport, for anyone flying in and out of there.Our originally booked unit was double booked, but our host was able to get us another one in the same building at a reduced rate. However, because of the unit change, they hadn't had time to clean and re-stock it properly, but the very-responsive hosts fixed these quickly as well, and even threw in the use of a golf cart to go around the premises.Very secure location (security guard at front entrance to resort) and pin/keypad to enter the building itself. You'll actually get the physical key from the security guard upon driving up.There's a small playground nearby for younger kiddos, the pool, game room, gym, and laundry facilities are up on higher floors of the same building.Great internet speed for those who may need to connect to the web while staying here.If you are driving back or forth from Gamboa, be careful to ignore GPS telling you to take Borinquen road, as that is for trucking/canal traffic only, not a normal toll rode.
