For the price point this was a great hostel stay. I stayed in a 6-bed women’s pod room and it was very clean and comfortable. Once in my pod at night I was never woken up by any noise. It was very easy to catch an Uber to anywhere in town. Showers were clean with excellent water pressure.

Simple accommodations went a really long way for a weary traveler such as myself. And Hostel The Pod 33 was just what I needed. I slept like a rock. The Pod was quiet, clean and very accessible. And it's located in the charming neighborhood of Bella Vista, too.

My stay was fine. Half of the showers didn't work, but I was always able to use one of the ones that did. If you are a solo female traveler and want to stay in the women’s only dorm, you should now that you have to walk through the co-ed dorm in order to reach it, so it’s not quite as separate as I would have hoped. There also wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms, so you have to bring your own. But the location is good.

Other than a good location and being cheap, I would not recommend this place. The front desk is never around and is not friendly. I booked and paid for a seven bed and put me in a 20 bed instead. There are better places to stay.

Staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating, but I did have to ring the doorbell for 10 minutes when I first arrived before someone finally answered. I also had to vacate the large shared room I was in and sleep on a sofa outside the room because someone had turned up the A/C to a level too high for my comfort.

The staff was fine, but there was a woman in our room who insisted on keeping the air conditioning off and the lights off!! She was very rude and I found out from staff that she had been getting into yelling fights with other guests. The owner should have thrown her out immediately but they gave her too many second chances! Ugh! There really aren’t any laundry facilities nearby, only a dry cleaner. Also the staff doesn’t speak English so have your translator app ready.

Mon refuge à Panama City. J’y retournerai !

J’ai fait plusieurs séjours à Panama City et El Hostel Pod33 était à chaque fois mon point de chute. La situation est parfaite dans un quartier très sûr Près de la station de métro Santo Tomas, d’un super marché. Je suis allée à pied visiter la ville ancienne. Super accueil. Gentillesse et disponibilité. J’ai laissé des affaires pendant mon trip dans le Darien. La literie est parfaite. Chaque lit a sa prise de courant et un rideau pour préserver l’intimité. Il existe des lits doubles en dortoir. La climatisation. Génial. Peut-être que quelques ustensiles de cuisine et le mobilier de la salle à manger/ salon serait à rénover mais on s’y sent franchement bien! J’y retournerai encore et encore, c’est certain.

Desafortunadamente no ha sido como en las fotos, por lo cual que me tuve que ir despues de 30 minutos despues de mi llegada. No me sentí comoda, porque estaba super sucio todo, el baño olía mal y no había jabón para lavar manos. Muy raro todo, no me gusto asique no lo recomiendo para alguien que le guste estar comodo y le gustan las habitaciones/baños limpios.

El lugar es muy agradebale, el tipo que atiende es muy agradable y estuvo siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos. La ubicación es muy buena, a pocos pasos esta un restaurante donde es muy econcomico y a unos cuantos pasos mas un supermercado, pienso que esta cerca de todo lo que quise ver en panama No me agrado que el lugar no tenga opcion de cancelar o modifcar, buscando un poco sobre esta opcion en Hoteles.com encontré que es debido a que el lugar no lo ofrece. Hice una reserva en una fecha por error y ahora voy a perder esa reserva porque ya dejé el país.
