  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Good place!

The penthouse was wonderful, if a bit outdated on some aspects but it didn’t impact our trip. The bed I slept in was comfortable which is what matters to me! The view was beautiful from the balcony and deck and check in was super easy with the codes being sent. Only thing I would say I disliked was that car passes were not included in the price so had to pay a separate 80 dollar fee for two cars for the HOA.
