Fun and Beautiful

Me and my friends stayed in this house and absolutely loved it. It’s right on the beach and it is beautiful as well as it’s in walking distance to a lot of locations! It was a very fun vacation with lots of memories!

"Our Old Faithful Surf Drive Beach House"

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this house at least 5 times in the past. We love the area. The house is located on a quiet street. The house is very spacious for our needs. The house has never been "spotless" when we have stayed there in the past, so we didnt expect it to be. The floors were dirty and the area rugs hadnt been cleaned. In all fairness, we noticed a vacum sweeper in the dumpster and that may have been the reason floors looked so bad. I called the customer service number and was promptly taken care of. I had to call customer service a few times during our stay and was very pleased with the prompt service we recevied. Overall, our stay was very good. We really like staying at this house. Its close to the stores and you can walk to at least one gas station to pick up ice and small items like that. I would recommend this house and we have over the years to people who have stayed in this house. The location seems a little more "tourist like" than before when we used to stay here. The beach is really why we come. There are so many new high rises, it makes the place more comerical. The house is still one of the favorite houses my family and friends enjoy coming to when we go on vacation. We plan on booking this house again. We call it, "Old Faithful".

Fantastic space

We rented this house so our out of town guests could stay together for our wedding weekend. The space is terrific, and the location is perfect on the “quieter” east end of PCB. The house is beautifully situated on the beach with a lovely pool and hot tub. The property manager was kind and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable space to share with loved ones.

Large Family Friendly

We had 18 total people ages 4 years and up and everyone had plenty of room! Almost everyone got their own room. Te location was perfect with immediate access to the beach and easy walks to some shops and restaurants. We had a couple minor issues but they were addressed and fixed in the same day! The kitchen was well stocked and the additional freezer came in handle with our large group. The back deck was great and fit all of us as well. We will definitely stay here again for our next family vacation!

Panama City Surf Getaway Vacation

My stay was better than i ever could have expected, the house was clean as could be and there was none of the bugs described in past reviews. The towels were clean and smelled good as well as the dishes. The hot tub and pool were both warm and hot and clean. Beach was amazing. Watch out for beach police with drinks!

2024 July trip

Beach access is wonderful! Beautiful beach and home. House just needs some minor updates but is wonderful to stay in. Hot tub was not working and pool man fixed it to where it was heating easy and quickly! Home was beautiful we would definitely stay again. We come to Panama every year and will definitely have this house saved for future trips. Pool was clean only got green the very last day. We had a wonderful time!

Awesome Place with Great Ownership

We stayed with a large group at the house and it was awesome, everything you can expect from a beach house: Great location, Great House, Great Hospitality. The house slept our 21 people extremely comfortably pretty much a room for every couple. The house had some very minor issues when we arrived and Bob and the ECDI staff were very prompt to correct them and make our stay awesome. If you have a large group this is the place for you! Thanks to Bob and the whole team for an awesome experience!

Cheap big place, quite a few roaches

Overall my family had a great time on our vacation, one of the best we’ve ever been on. The size of the house was great as was the location. The price was great, but upon arrival we could clearly tell the house is used as a “party pad” and there wasn’t much thought given to the overall quality. The biggest complaint we had were regarding the large roaches that were all over the house. For the price, we had a phenomenal time, however we will be staying elsewhere in the future due to the overall lack of quality of the house and the giant roaches.

Lots of rooms

Love all the bedrooms. The hot tub was an extra added bonus, when it was heating. The view fantastic. But the house was very dirty with roaches and flying bugs. All the beds make lots of noises. The WiFi did not work the whole time we were there. The refrigerator and freezer was not cold, but the extra deep freezer was a nice touch. Door handles was coming off, faucet in the kitchen was messed up. There is black mold. We would book again if updates are made tho.

Room with a view

My husband had a request of seeing the waves. He is happy as long as he has his dog, a porch and can see the waves. We have a large family and like to travel with our pets. The home has a great beach front location. Great beach front access, and is pet friendly. If you are a frequent guest at the Ritz, this is not your home, however, it was clean and had a lot of space to spread out. We had a party of twelve with an infant, teens and adults. We cooked in most nights with a little improvising we were able to prepare meals with the kitchen furnishings. The house shows some wear, as most ocean front properties do, but it provided us with a comfortable, beautiful beach getaway.

The house looks beautiful online, however it was a mess. The house smelled terrible. We had to contact the property manager every day of our stay. Rat feces was in the fork drawer, the electrical stopped working, the pool turned green and the pump did not work, the pump on the hot tub stopped working, paint was chipping everywhere, all the sinks and cabinets were very outdated. The best thing was the location on the beach. We will NOT stay here again

Family vacation

Upon arrival the outside was not the cleanest. Gum was stuck to the boards on the outside patio, garbage was scattered throughout. Outside furniture was broken, could not enjoy the upper level outside, due to broke furniture so not enough seating. Was told that the furniture would be replaced but no one came back to replace it. Pool and hot tub nasty. Had to purchase new pillows due to the pillows being nasty. Huge bugs throughout the place. Air condition had trouble cooling the place. The plus side to it all is the beds did sleep comfortably and the location was perfect.would not stay here again due to bad outweighing the good.

11 bedrooms with only 1 bunk room!

Trying to find a place large enough to accommodate my family and friends on the beach without half the house covered in bunk beds no easy feat but we were able to have all of that here. There were the usual things I've found with ECDI. House wasn't as clean as it could have been, there were items in the house that didn't work and we were forced to fix a few things ourselves because I know better than to call for maintenance or issues I've never had anyone help or fix anything or even return a call over issues in the past. The pool is a hot tub, but we already knew that from photos. That being said... The view... Absolutely Majestic! Beach location? Completely amazing. The 2 tier deck was incredible. We had plenty of room and were able to do almost anything we wanted to do with the space. I decided a few years ago that inspite of some of the issues with this property management company I still prefer them over some of the more pristine locations. I tend to bring a large group of people with me on vacation and being in a house where everything is perfect, white, and spotless can be stressful to worry about things getting broken or ruined. We aren't bulls but I just don't worry about it as much in ECDI homes. Could they do a little better with cleaning? There were rooms we found dust on furniture and lightbulbs needing replaced, no connections to TVs, ECT. I am ready for these things though so I bring a few rokus and disinfect. Very nice and well situated house

The location is great. The house is large and nicely decorated. While the kitchen isn’t set up for entertaining, it has the basics needed to feed a large group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly book again. The pool is a nice size and is heated which was especially nice on cool beach days. There was some broken outdoor furniture from a previous guest which the management company took care of immediately, and the person who came to do so was very kind.

Wonderful Vacation

The staff was very responsive and helpful. The location is perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook multiple meals a day to accommodate everyone. The pool and hot tub were great to have on double red flag days. We are already planning our trip next year to stay here again!

Great Beachfront Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at the Surf Drive Beach House. We were 17 adults and 7 children. The property's general condition: Inside: very clean and comfortable (only one King bed was not usable - the mattress is shot); Outside: nice size deck area, deck furniture in decent shape, "pool" needs work (pool is actually an extra large spa - only two jets work weakly and the filter doesn't do anything - a shame since our children love to swim). The beach was glorious! We loved playing in the sand and surf. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large family that enjoys sharing time together; and, particularly, loves to be on the beach. We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with assorted pots/pans. The large dining table was a great place to gather for meals and crafts. The grill outside did not have a full propane tank and the connections didn't look great - we opted not to use it. Inconveniences like the "pool" and grill did not prevent us from having a great time together!

Reviewer Comments: There were a few issues with swim spa not working and they did send someone to address and come to find out heater was out which was a bummer as we rented this house with the anticipation we would be able to use this. The house was very spacious and accommodated our large group nicely. There is some awful wear on kitchen cabinets and I would recommend a larger fridge for this house considering its size. There was a lack of TV's in the house as 5 of the 11 bedrooms did not have tv's and the ones that did only 2 could get channels as the cable was not working correctly. We still had a great time and would rent again if we had another large family vacation.

Huge House For Our Family and Friends

The beach is so big behind the house we had room to set up our own beach volleyball court. It was very clean and we only had one maintenace issue with the garbage disposal but EDI responded to our email and sent a maintenace man who removed a stuck bottle cap. We would have had to rent about 6 condos to get this much space and would have spent way more and not had the place to ourselves like we did with this house. We will rent this house again.

Big House For a Big Family

Reviewer Comments: This house met all of our requirements for our big family's first beach vacation all together. he 11 bedrooms are spread out 6 on the top floor 5 on the lower floor which worked out great with the older adults upstairs who go to bed early and our younger adults downstairs who like to stay up later or go out at night. The house was clean, beds were all very comfy ice linens and plenty of towels were provided. There are 2 sets of washers and dryers and one of the dryers stopped working and the management company replaced it the same day. The back balcony and lower deck were nice with plenty of chairs and tables. The location is great in a sleepy part of the town with lots of beachfront directly behind the house. There is very little traffic on the side road in front of the house and we would rent it again!
