Secluded Florida Beach Bungalow FEBRUARY SPECIAL $2000 FOR THE MONTH!!

The Spotted Grouper is a delightful secluded Florida beach bungalow surrounded by twisted Sand Live Oaks. We are located on Bald Point beside Alligator Point, FL in a small, quiet beach neighborhood along the Forgotten Coast, surrounded by Bald Point State Park.
The house is 100 yards from the Gulf - to get there just walk down Grouper Street to the water-there are no streets to cross. It is a very secluded natural beach with lots of sea life where you can enjoy all the beauty of nature. You have gulf views from the living room as well as the porch and patio and the sound of the ocean can lull you to sleep at night. The fishing is fantastic, as are the local restaurants and seafood markets. The house is at ground level so you don't have stairs to climb which makes it very convenient for carrying suitcases and groceries into the home. It sleeps 6 with 1 queen bed and 1 double bed and also has a sleeper sofa in the LR.
We are 45 miles south of Tallahassee, 340 miles due south of Atlanta. The Spotted Grouper makes a perfect getaway if you like a quiet area that DOESN'T have a crowded beach with abundant wildlife and nature reminiscent of "Old Florida".

Grandbabies beach trips.

First trip for the grandbabies. The beach was close and no one else was on the beach except us. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Owner responded quickly with any questions i had. Very nice stay.

This may have been the cleanest property we have ever stayed in!! We loved the old Florida charm of the home with a great view of the gulf! Within walking distance to the small beach!

Secluded beachfront oasis

This place is truly magical! You can hear the waves crashing on the shore from the porch and an unspoiled, secluded beach is just a few steps away. Clean and fully stocked, Sheree’s place is phenomenal. We can’t wait to come back!

Clean, cute, and close to the beach! Good restaurants if you don’t want to cook. Enough space for all of us and a tv in every room which we hardly turned on until nighttime. Would reccomend

Another Great Stay!

My husband and I had another great stay at the Spotted Grouper. Sharee is an awesome host and so easy to work with. Our only "complaint" was that our stay was too short :) We wished we would have had the time to stay longer. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing get away, this is the place!

Great place to relax

The whole process with Sheree was easy! The bungalo was cozy, a great place to relax. Good fising on the adjacent beach. It was quiet, and perfectly secluded for us. We will definately rent the bungalo again.

Really nice place!

It was a really nice place where we stayed. All the comfort of home. Had a few problems when we got there but got them worked out. The only toblem I saw was the access to the beach was not ideal but we made the best of it.

Everything and more!

The Spotted Grouper provided the perfect get away! The bungalow is spotlessly clean, has everthing one could possibly need to feel at home, well positioned in a quiet friendly neighborhood, and located in and near a nature preserve area. We highly recommend staying here. We explored the natural areas, including the gulf in a 16' canoe. So much wildlife to enjoy. Fishing, bird watching, cooking and enjoying each others company filled our days. Never turned on the tv or radio. A total escape from the rat race! We enjoyed the outdoor shower, grilled on the Weber, and relaxed in the screen porch. We hope to return next year. Sheree, the owner, was wonderful to work with. She was so kind and helpful. She even gave us fishing bait suggestions.

Quiet, cozy, relaxing!

The booking and check in process was very easy. The host is so kind and helpful. This place had everything you need, was quiet and comfortable! It’s just a short walk to the water down the driveway. We visited nearby St. George Island and Wakulla Springs- both were beautiful! I wish the beach at the house was a little bigger (more sand area) and the water was clearer but both completely unrelated to the actual house, which was perfect for our family. Thank you for sharing your place!

Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing

The Spotted Grouper was exactly what my wife and I needed, a quiet, peaceful respite from our stressful jobs and hectic lives in a large urban area. The cottage is unassuming, but perfect for a kicked-back beach getaway. It had everything we needed, and the screened-in porch with a vintage glider is icing on the cake. Two large restaurants in Panacea - Angelo’s and The Trident - just a short drive from the cottage - are superb, definitely worth checking out. Just down the road is Bald Point State Park, with a beautiful white sand beach we had all to ourselves and hiking trails, where we spent a full morning exploring. We’ve vacationed in the Florida Panhandle many times, but we agreed that the week we spent at the Spotted Grouper was our best vacation yet. Highly recommended.

Comfortable nest

First of all I want to say how accommodating and sweet that Sheree is! She certainly made us feel comfortable staying there. The place was exactly as I saw it online and very close to the beach. I know they're probably a nuisance but I was very excited that I got to see a bear in our driveway! The house was very comfortable and I did not want to leave! It had everything we needed for our stay! It's a very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were also very sweet. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who's looking for a nice quiet getaway!

Forgotten Coast Beauty

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Spotted Grouper. It never disappoints . We absolutely adore this place every time we visit. If you are looking for peace, tranquility , and the beauty of nature surrounding you then book this place. This truly is a hidden treasure on the forgotten coast. You are almost always the only ones on the beach. The wildlife is stunning. Our favorites are around 7PM when the sandbars start to form & you can walkout & collect all sorts of treasures. To Do: 1) Watch sunrise 2) Relax 3) Rest 4) Watch sunset 5) Repeat 1-4 daily Sheree is amazing to work with. Thank you for sharing your treasure with us! We will definitely be back again.
