Cozy Lakefront Condo with Kayaks at Bernard's Landing on Smith Mountain Lake

"We had a fantastic family stay at Bernard’s Landing. The condo was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great home base for exploring Smith Mountain Lake. The location was the biggest highlight. We enjoyed the private lakeside beach, pools, walking paths, waterfront views, and beautiful sunsets without needing to drive everywhere. We rented a pontoon from The Dock at Smith Mountain Lake and spent a full day boating, tubing, swimming, and relaxing on the water. We also visited Smith Mountain Lake State Park, stopped at Smith Mountain Lake Coffee House, and spent an evening at Bridgewater Plaza where we ate at Mango’s, played mini golf, visited the arcade, and walked around the shops. We also had dinner at Napoli by the Lake right at Bernard’s Landing. We traveled with three kids ages 5–12, and there was something for everyone. We originally planned another excursion but ended up spending more time at the resort because the kids were having such a great time. Overall, this was a great family-friendly place to stay with easy lake access, nice amenities, and plenty to do nearby. We would absolutely consider staying here again."

"Everything was as stated. The 10 of us had plenty of room to spread out. We were able to launch the boat and dock it at the house. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. House was much more stocked than we expected. Great family vacation. Thanks so much"

"What a GREAT property! Family vacation was wonderful fishing off dock, relaxing by fire or in hot tub or cooling off in the lake and kayaking the lake. Inside had room for everyone to spread out and yet eat as a family in oversized kitchen with island and seating for 6 plus open concept dining that provided seating for 8. Evenings in game room playing cards, shuffleboard and a kids kitchen for the little one. Host was accessible when needed and check-in was smooth and simple. Home exceeded our hopes."

"Was not told lake water was so low. Bed and sofa are worm out and need replacing. Very uncomfortable for senior citizens. Wind gusts came and ripped and knocked over outside table umbrella. That needs replacing as well. Other amenities were good. Lots of cook ware and towels."
