BluehousePortixol · Your home by the sea in Palma de Mallorca

  • BluehousePortixol is a traditional fisherman's house with a private patio and a century-old ficus, just 30 m from the sea and Portixol beach in Palma de Mallorca. This lively neighbourhood has restaurants and terraces; the historic centre is 2 km away, on foot or by bus.



    Downstairs, the equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso), dining room and bright living room open onto the private patio: barbecue, hammock, lounge area, solar shower, toilet and laundry area. Upstairs are two double bedrooms, each with a 160 cm bed, wardrobe and heating/air conditioning, plus a shared full bathroom. Wi-Fi, two Smart TVs, bed linen, towels, hairdryer and cot available.



    The beach is 30 m away. Enjoy snorkelling, paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing and fishing nearby. The seafront offers up to 33 km for walking, skating or cycling, with views of the Cathedral and Bellver Castle. Portixol and Molinar offer paella, fresh fish and tapas, with bakeries, supermarkets and pharmacies a few minutes' walk away. At dusk, enjoy the sunset from the seafront terraces.



    For families: three playgrounds within 1 km and sailing courses for ages 5 and up. There is also a sports centre with a heated pool, padel and tennis.



    Bus stop nearby and BiciPalma stations in Portixol and Ciutat Jardí. Free public street parking; no private or reserved space.



    We are Sanam and Juan. We lived here for 12 years and have lovingly renovated the house. We speak several languages and reply as soon as we can. If we are off the island, a trusted person can come to the house. Come and feel at home by the Mediterranean.

Perfect place to stay for our trip to Mallorca

The house was exactly as advertised, in a lovely area just outside Palma. Clean, bright and a 2 min walk to the beach, groceries or the bus. we had a car and it was easy to find street parking. The host left us a delicious basket of Mallorcan treats and was very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

The perfect stay

This is our second time staying at the blue house over Christmas. Sanam is a wonderful host who provides such lovely touches and is easy to contact. Clear check in and out instruction is provided. The house itself is in the best location. Portixol is our favourite place to stay on the island and there is nowhere better to stay in this area. The house is immaculate and close to a supermarket and all the best restaurants etc. We particularly love walking along the sea front. We will be back! Thank you for hosting us.
