Fantastic hotel in a quiet location

Fantastic long weekend trip to Palma to see my niece and we stayed in this lovely hotel. The welcome was friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Any questions we had were always answered. Taxis were requested for us. Table bar service by the pool. Room was spotless and air con very welcome. We will definitely stay here again!!

Good location for restaurants, bars, beach and short distance to airport and Palma city centre by bus. Bus stop is only few minutes walk from the property. Would recommend a stay here.

Fabulous Hotel

Fabulous hotel. Very clean. Room & balcony very clean. Pool area small but plenty of free sunbeds! Had the chicken wrap for lunch which was a great price , huge amount & delicious. Very nice hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with helpful friendly staff. Our room was spotless. Beach is just at the end of the road. We hired the bikes for the day which was great and were able to pay for a late checkout. Could do with more sunbeds (and not let people reserve them!) and our room was quite small but would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, had efficient friendly staff and the choice at breakfast was exceptional. The provision of a large cycle store with cleaning facilities adjacent to a well equipped cool gym was a bonus. The only facility missing was no restaurant available in the evening.

Lovely

Very nice place, comfortably quiet. Not all staff spoke English, only a slight issue. Our double bed was just two singles put together which would’ve been fine if there was a double mattress sheet to strap them together, but there was not.

We made a reservation and received the confirmation via e mail. When we came at the hotel there was no rooms available. Now we are in the completely different hotel arranged with the kindness of the gentlemen at the reception..

We had a lovely stay at BQ Amfora. The hotel is on a quiet street, a very short walk from the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We were placed in room 419 which was lovely and quiet. The room was on the smaller side, though well proportioned for two people. We did not feel cramped. We enjoyed the balcony which, again, was just the right size for us. The beds were comfortable and we loved the air conditioning unit, which was not noisy. The mini fridge was a welcome surprise in the room. The shower was excellent. We enjoyed use of the sun loungers and snack bar, which had very tasty food and cocktails! The luggage storage room was very helpful for us due to having a later flight. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to return.

Hotel was clean and stuff very friendly and accommodating. It was quite even though very close to the airport. Our booking included breakfast which was amazing. Hotel also have small and clean gym which was unexpected bonus and we ended up using it two times. Area around is also nice but a bit busy with cars parked all around. The parking situation is the only negative but that is not specific to this hotel so I did not take mark on this. You have to park on the street and sometimes in the evenings we had to go couple of rounds around the area to find spot. I can just imaging how bad this can be in the summer. On the positive side location was good for exploring the whole island via daily trips so little paring headache was not deal breaker.

I was not impressed with my stay at this hotel. As a single traveller, I specifically chose a hotel for the added security and convenience — not an apartment. However, when I checked in, I was told that all single occupancy guests were placed in an apartment block across the road from the main hotel, which was not staffed. This completely defeated the purpose of booking a hotel for safety reasons. I had to cross the road every time I wanted to go for breakfast or use the swimming pool, which made me feel vulnerable and uncomfortable, especially when returning later in the evening. I did ask the receptionist if I could have a room in the main hotel but was told this wasn’t possible. To make things worse, check-in was very slow, adding to an already disappointing start. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for solo travellers — it doesn’t provide the security or service you would expect when booking a hotel stay
