Lido Palms Resort & Spa in Desert Hot Springs is a peaceful, low-key retreat with wonderfully clean, perfectly heated mineral pools ideal for relaxation. The small number of rooms creates a quiet atmosphere without crowds, and the friendly on-site owners, especially Alla, made us feel warmly welcomed and at home. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a full kitchen that was super convenient. It’s not a fancy resort, but if you want a calm, rejuvenating getaway, this place is perfect. Thank you, Alla and Edward, for welcoming us so perfectly — we’ll definitely return!

Stayed here for the Coachella festival. Very convenient, great natural spring pools, and everyine was super friendly. I probably dont need to go to Coachella again, but if I do, I woukd definitely book a room at the Lido.

What a charming motel! The proprietor Janet personally showed us around when we checked in. Room was spacious, well-appointed and spotless. Nice to have the indoor mineral springs pool in case of rough weather, but the outdoor pool at night with the surrounding swaying palm trees was heavenly. Will absolutely stay there again!

I liked that it was very small and easy to get around. It is a very quiet and pleasing environment. The room has ample space, a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable details like the lush bathroom rug, beautiful towels and linens, modesty robes. Very enjoyable stay!

I like the hotel for its privacy - only 10 rooms. Quiet, no children, no animals, closed area. The swimming pools are open 24 hours a day. There is a kitchen, a large refrigerator, you can cook something simple or heat up food.

Wonderful girls getaway in the desert!

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at the Lido Palms Resort and Spa. Upon our arrival we received a tour of the property and the pools, along with helpful information about the benefits of the mineral waters. Alla and her husband the proprietors were very attentive to their guests, making sure all felt welcome and checked in on guests throughout their stay. The property was bright and clean, with a bonus kitchenette, and the pools were amazing! This was a friend getaway, and it was so worth it! The location has easy access to Joshua Tree National Park, and the town of Desert Hot Springs is very cute! After a day of hiking and walking, the mineral waters here were just what we needed. The decor inside the room and the pool area was very calming with beautiful plants and flowers. The massage service I received was wonderful, and the spa room was tranquil, it was so nice to walk outside the spa room after the massage and lounge near the pool. This was such a nice and relaxing stay! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway! Alla the owner, was so kind to even call after we had left the property because I had left something behind! A hidden gem in the desert, and will definitely be back and spend more time, a weekend was not enough!

The staff were great and the pools nice. The rooms and kitchenettes are from the 70s, and badly need renovations. It needs investment and upgrades. For example the windows will not securely close and little screw clamps are used as a stop gap, but this isn't obvious.

The office is only open 8-8, but despite the check-in time of 3pm I was allowed to use and store my stuff in my room at around 1pm before they had gotten around to cleaning it out, which was really nice and helped save my schedule. They just gave the cleaners a heads up that my stuff would be in the closet, and it was safe and untouched when I got back at 2:30am that night. The pool and hot tub were really nice. The room had plenty of space and amenities, I appreciated having a full table and refrigerator in the kitchen, and in other circumstances would have really liked having the stove oven in the unit.

Desert X trip

The Lido is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Desert Hot spring area. We really enjoy having a separate kitchen and the pools are wonderful .
