"Extraordinary experience at Grand Hotel et Des Palme. The hotel is beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and perfectly located within walking distance of all the major attractions. The breakfast was truly outstanding, served in one of the most gorgeous rooms in the hotel, making each morning a special experience. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Vito, who kindly arranged last minute tickets to the Teatro Massimo di Palermo for us to see the breathtaking ballet Caravaggio, an unforgettable evening! Er would definitely return."

"The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, more so than most! We had a member of our group with a disability and they were very accomodating of her in terms of room placement, bed separation etc. They also arranged a taxi for us to the train station on our final day and provided recommendations for where to eat nearby. Plus, a check out time of 12pm is a real luxury! The rooftop food and bar upstairs were fantastic quality too, we had top quality sushi and cocktails there. And we really enjoyed our breakfast up there each morning. I would highly recommend Hotel Plaza Opera given all of the above - plus it is in a very central and convenient area!"

"This hotel is a little hidden treasure . The views are spectacular. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent . The pool and surrounding shower amenities are very good . Lovely that you have a secure stairs that is roped to take a dip in the sea . I will return again a truly wonderful vacation"

"As a 3-star hotel, the Mediterraneo is excellent value for money and perfectly situated close to the Teatro Massimo and via Macqueda. The breakfast is excellent. However, it is a pity there is no kettle in the room for making tea or coffee. Also, there was no shower cap or shower gel. I have been coming to the Mediterraneo for 51 years (since 1975!). It has always been great under successive management. However, I would like to see a little more by way of facilities in the room, including also a stocked mini-bar."
