Had an amazing time in sunshine hostel, the girl who worked there went above and beyond in helping me with any issues. The owner was a top guy as well. Really good vibe to the place, make sure you stay here if you want to meet people

I travel constantly for work. I break up the monotony with a hostel every two weeks. You go to hostels cause they're fun, welcoming, and to meet others. Not here. This is one of the most toxic staffs I have seen in quite some time. Rude, nasty, condescending, etc. It was cold that night. Only had a sheet on my bed. When I asked for a blanket, the guy (who was the only one who made an effort) tossed one in my direction and walked off. Just plain weird! I walked away shaking my head. Spend the extra $15 and get a spot down the road. You'll be glad you did!

Friendly small hostel in excellent location

I enjoyed using Sunshine Hostel as a base to explore Palermo. The staff were friendly and, whilst facilities are pretty basic, they are well maintained, clean, and sufficient for a small hostel. I felt the vibe was pretty relaxed and friendly, too.
