Malheureusement notre hôte a oublié notre réservation. Il n'y a pas d'accueil. On a dû se débrouiller avec un voisin et des pensionnaires pour contacter l'hôte. Ça se termine bien, puisqu'il nous a trouvé un hôtel à proximité.

The house was full of disappointment. It was so nice in the pictures but the reality was extremely different. Please read my following comments if you want to stay in this house: The house is dark. There is no window in the bedroom. The wc/bathroom is in the bedroom. When you take shower, all the steam stays in the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom is like a disaster. It is so uncomfortable. We could not sleep well because of the bad quality of the bed. If you want to put your staff (shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush etc.) in/on somewhere, there is not such a place in the bathroom. Bathroom/WC is too small. When you take shower, you cannot even turn right/left inside the shower cabin. The hot water turns into cold after one person takes a shower. Second person has to wait for the hot water for a while. There were ants in the bathroom. There was not enough toilet paper. The house was horribly in dust. The carpet in the living room is so dirty and there is so much dust on it. The kitchen is another disaster. There were not staff to cook, boil or cook in the kitchen. We wanted to have a tea but because there was not something to boil the water, we could not. The underneath of the kitchen marble is so so dirty. If you open the curtains underneath of the kitchen marble, you will really feel disgusted. The balcony was too tiny. It is almost impossible for two people to sit in the balcony. Even if you sit in the balcony, you cannot make any movement in the balcony. You

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in the large room at the end of October 2020 and we're pleased with our overall experience. The host Alessandro contacted us by eMail and WhatsApp before to ask about the arrival time and offer a transfer from.l the airport which we gladly accepted and recommend. Alessandro welcomed us on site upon our arrival and offered to help with anything we.may in the next days. For beeakfast, fresh croissants (actually cornetto :) ) were delivered every morning by the host's son, additionally at our disposal there was fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, tea kettle, bread, cookies, jam, coffee and milk. Our room was clean and spacious and we were glad to have a combined air-conditioning with heating function as the nights did get a bit chilly. The shared balcony to the inside court was a nice surprise and we enjoyed having breakfast there while enjoying the morning sun. The apartment is located in a pedestrian back street which makes it as quiet as it can be (for Palermo standards) and very close to several cafés, restaurant and one of the main tourist streets. Across the street is a Carrefour supermarket which is handy if you want to cook. In summary, it was a great deal for the price and we definitely recommend it.

In an old 17th-century building, we had a nice stay in two spacious, clean rooms with spacious balconies, a full kitchen, and a decent breakfast with delicious home-made cake by Alessandro a happy and always willing host.

Old world charm on Palermo!

Charming decor in older area of Palermo but in a good location to major historical sites. We had trouble getting in touch with the manager and the property was not cleaned when we initially checked in. They need new mattresses. Beloved the convenience to the historical sites.
