Mondello Design exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was sparkling clean, welcoming, and had gracious, modern decor. Each day the breakfast buffet was a delightful treat with home baked pastries and other delicious foods. Our hostess, Roberta, made my family and me feel like honored friends rather than paying guests.

Brilliant stay at a wonderful B&B in Mondello. Roberta is great hostess. She is so welcoming. Her B&B is kept smart, clean, and tidy. The family room was ideal for us (2 adults, 2 kids). Roberta was an incredible host always willing to provide the outmost comfort and recommendations for the best experiences in the area and beyond! We absolutely loved staying in BB Mondello Design. The rooms, the breakfast, the beach and the area was absolutely amassing!! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be close to Palermo but to avoid the traffic and the noice of a city!

Excellent Mondello Beach vacation!

Our hostess was excellent! She was very welcoming and accommodating. At check in she was there to greet us with a lot of useful information about the area. Breakfast was very good and her cakes that she bakes daily are delicious! The property was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this B&B to my family and friends.

We stayed in a lovely suite with a balcony for five nights. Roberta makes a wonderful breakfast. She also arranged for a driver to take us to Monreale and Cefalu. The hotel is a very short walk to the beach. We were extremely glad that we chose to stay in Mondello instead of central Palermo. The beach is lovely and the feeling there is very chill.

The neighborhood is great and few meters to beautiful beach. Our Host Roberta is very friendly and helpful. She suggested and provided guidance for dining options. She also helped us to book cars for airport pick up and drop off. The breakfast is delicious, but we did not have time to fully take advantage. Pastry selection is great. Overall, the facility is what it is shown and no surprises.

Above and Beyond any expectations my wife and I had. Roberta the owner is a truly one of a kind person, extremely warm and friendly, and truly wants you to have the time of your life while you stay at her property. Property itself is a three minute walk to beach if you can actually leave such an amazing place to stay. Mondello was the highlight of our trip to Sicily and we will never forget the kindness and warmth Roberta shared with us , as if we’re Family; and the breakfast spread was fit for a King and Queen!! And the Cannoli pie was to die for!!!

Roberta was an excellent hostess, warm, welcoming and extremely helpful re local facilities, restaurants, tours etc. She was happy to book restaurants, tours, airport transport. It was like a home away from home - beautiful breakfast with amazing homemade cakes (made daily by Roberta), served on the terrace of this gorgeous villa. Our room had every facility, including very good aircon. It was spacious and bright, tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed, minibar, tea making facilities. Lovely ensuite bathroom, plus spacious balcony also. With its location close to the beach and restaurants, BB Mondello Design is a wonderful place for a relaxed getaway. Roberta organised tours for us with Adriano, who took us to Monreale, Cefalù, Segesta, Erice and Trapani over two days, giving us a real insight into the history, culture and scenic beauty of North Eastern Sicily. Thank you Roberta !
