"Beautiful place in a beautiful city! The grounds are so lovely and the staff so kind. The breakfast was delicious! If you don’t have a car, be prepared to call taxis as walking to town doesn’t really work. Great stay!"

"Quaint lovely hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. The location was perfect, with a view of the Duomo from my room. It was everything you’d expect from the description. If I ever find myself in the wonderful town of Orvieto, I would definitely stay there again. "

"I really loved our stay at Hotel Valentino. It's a relatively quick walk from the funiculare stazione and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect - not too far from anything and the views from our room exceeded our expectations "

"Good location, 10 to 15 minute walk from train station and the funicular and has a good view of the hilltop city of Orvieto from below. The included breakfast was fine."

"Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly.
The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October). "

"The location is everything - right by the Duomo! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - not too fancy - but you have everything you need. The bed and the bedding were quite good. They have a nice breakfast buffet with many selections. I will go back again. "
"Absolutely beautiful hotel located in the heart of Orvieto! The room was very clean, and the service was impeccable! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but I would love to come back one day for a longer stay here."
"What a fantastic stay! The staff was super friendly and very helpful. When we arrived, our receptionist drove with us to the offsite parking lot. The unit was impressive, with the original structure incorporated into the design. On our day of departure, we opted to have breakfast in their restaurant, and they were very accommodating with my wheat allergy, offering gluten-free bread and pastries. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

"Serena and Simone were the perfect hosts. They have built a beautiful home for themselves and guests in a farming community. Serena guided us through 2 days of touring the area with great suggestions for visiting Orvieto, riding through beautiful country mountains and exploring Montepulciano and other nearby cities. Accommodations are perfect. The rooms are lovely and we had everything we needed and more. The restoration of the interiors are amazing. I cannot say enough about our visit! We actually added an extra day here as we were not ready to say goodbye. "
"Very clean and convenient, nice that it was past the main part of town opposite side of city from vernacular which made it quiet but close. ( there is a nearby shuttle, or a 15 minute walk with bags…). The hotel gives you a feel that you are staying in a room of a castle. "
