"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel - and I let the reception staff know how much we liked it on checking out. The beds were comfortable, the shower was efficient and it was good to have two chairs in the room to relax in. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet. No hot dishes but that was fine with me. "Location is ok. The hotel is located on a beautiful property with gorgeous, well maintained garden. The room was ample and charming with beautiful large windows looking onto the lovely parking area which is quite large. However entering the premises is difficult due to the fact that the gate is extremely narrow to maneuver the car in. There is no air conditioner or ceiling fan, just a floor fan. No shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was included in my reservation. It was generous and varied, delicious coffee, cold cuts and cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juices, pastries, and more. And the breakfast area was lovely."

"The Citrea is a lovely hotel in Santander. A short walk from the Modern Art Museum (not the Botin Centre) and the town hall and the bus station, through the tunnel. Having been to Santander we knew this wasn't far so no issues. The room was cozy, but had plenty of storage cupboards. The air conditioning was absolutely needed in the heat of the summer, would go again just for this. The staff were fantastic, supporting us with every ask and arranged a late checkout on our departure day."
