"Lovely staff BUT not a comfortable stay for female alone. Arrived unsure if the hotel was actually functioning as all the lights were off in the smoked glass reception. It was 5.30pm and nearly dark. Discovered there were only 2 other rooms booked. Room was upgraded so larger but layout meant all plug sockets were inaccessible so all had extension leads. Seemed to be a drainage issue - looked and basin v slow. As a lady alone.... Back door needs BOLTs not a twisty know that you can't check if its locked. No outside lighting so when I went out to dinner I had to use phone torch to lock door and to make sure I didn't fall over as no lighting until lane at front. Remote on TV had flat batteries - popped to reception 15 mins after I checked in to find it closed until the morning. The isolation and darkness made me feel vulnerable. Apart from delightful staff and reasonable breakfast, not much I can add!"

"This has to be one of the best apartments we stayed in. Beautiful view, good sized terrace with hot tub, spacious 3 bedroom apartment, and really friendly host and staff. Shame as this was a one off trip for us from the UK so unlikely we’ll be visiting Kiwi again"

"The noise in the room from other guests was off the charts. There is a central corridor connecting the rooms and all the noise from kids, people talking etc comes straight under the door into the room. I barely slept"

"We didn't stay. The place smelled musty. The bed cover was lumpy, the couch uncomfortable, and the small freezer frozen over with ice and full of someone else's food. The view from the back balcony was of the neighbour's junkyard. We contacted the owner and advised him of this. We also contacted Stayz and got a refund of our booking fee. That was it."
