Excellent B&B

Lovely friendly hosts. Comfortable clean compact room, with the bonus of a balcony. Perfectly cooked and tasty breakfast. An ideal base for exploring the area. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Braedene Lodge

Really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly hosts and really good full English breakfast. Room was small, as stated on the website, so not an issue, and had everything we needed, including a balcony. Onsite parking was available, important in Torbay. Food was available nearby as was public transport connections.

Hosts Sharon & Ozzy were extremely obliging & friendly. They were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. Handy having Ozzy with his on site hairdressing business & local knowledge ! Enjoyed our stay.

Very welcoming B&B we would go back to

Very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. Being able to go in during the day helped when it was very very hot outside. I know some places say stay out all day, not here. The wifi is still being sorted and shower head wall clip needs a change but otherwise would come and stay again. Sharon and Ozzy are amazing and my quiet boy didn't want to leave.

Much charm here, a classic English B&B

Lovely little B&B. Plumbing probably could use an upgrade; shower pressure and temperature both unreliable. However, the owners couldn't do enough to help their guests, they are really lovely people.

The managers where absolutely lovely people, very pleasant and made sure we where all happy. My granddaughter has allergies to milk and soya and this was no problem for them. We would definitely be more than happy to stay again

Fantastisk ophold

Jeg er meget tilfreds med mit ophold og den service jeg fik. Indehaverne var meget behjælpelige med forskellige ting... Meget tilfreds med mit værelse og at jeg kunne slappe af, når jeg havde brug for det. Jeg vil anbefale dette hotel til andre og er sikker på, at det ikke er sidste gang jeg rejser på sådan en tur igen. Tak!

Pleasant location with friendly staff

A comfortable experience with owners who were easy to get along with and provided extra things like copy of local newspaper article about our sons performance in a touring circus when they knew that was the main purpose of our visit. Fine hosts.

Nice stay for a young couple

I came to the lodge with my boyfriend for 2 nights. Our welcoming was very friendly, and we were quickly shown up to our room. The room was quite small, but it had everything that we could possibly want (with the exception of perhaps ore tea/milk). The room was pretty clean, except we did had a spider in a room. But we grew to like it, and it was not a problem at all. We had a shared bathroom, and had no complaints. The shared bathroom was lovely, and very very clean Breakfast was wonderful, and we could not possibly complain. Both the owners of the lodge were super friendly which was great, and we were given advice on quick ways to get to certain places, which was very much appreciated. Finally, on our last day, our coach was in the evening and we had planned to go out. We were offered to keep our luggage with them and to collect it later, so that it would not be a nuisance for us. That was very kind. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to come here. My mother and her friend are thinking of coming down later in the year. PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER COMING HERE FOR YOUR STAY. Well worth it!

told Would Not stay there again

We definitely won`t be going back to this B & B again. We were on the 2nd floor the room was cramped & because it was very,very hot we asked if they had a fan but was told NO. We couldn`t have the windows open at night because the property next to us had a flat roof where the seagulls lived, they screeched & squabbled all night making it impossible to sleep. There was no flexibility in breakfast time it was 8 - 9am even Sat/Sun. So all in all a very unsatisfactory stay.

Lovely B&B; lovely stay

Wonderful two-night stay at Braedene Lodge. Owners Sharon and Ozzy are lovely and very welcoming, and the breakfasts are fantastic! The bathroom was a little cramped and the shower was a little temperamental (difficult to control temperature and water trickled rather slowly), but these are only minor details. Thank you!
