  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Awesome retreat, magical star gazing

This place was very well furnished and really felt like home away from home. We appreciated the numerous blankets and enjoyed star gazing every night! The beds were comfortable, the towels soft, and the kitchen well appointed! Thanks for wonderful stay!!

Wonderful Stay

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this cabin. The property was exactly as described, and the host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our interest. We were able to fish, hike, explore the area, and relax in the Hot Springs all with an easy reach from the cabin.

Absolutely gorgeous home and very nice stay!

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. Home away from home, has everything you need plus more, tucked away and secluded. We saw a bunch of deer. Loved the top deck / master room!! The vaulted ceilings, views, everything!! Such a beautiful & homey place. Clean and well organized, not too close to other cabins and very private. Close to the town of pagosa springs. The owners were very communicative which is a huge plus. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us. My family and I really loved your place.

Relaxing, quiet, & clean rental!

Very impressed with how we were cared for. Nice views. Enjoyed the bottle of wine and coffee. Clean home with easy access. We could have used an air conditioner but overall very nice experience.

A lovely home. Our only suggestion is to put a window unit AC in the upstairs bedroom, as it doesn’t have windows to create a cross-breeze, and can get quite warm.

Beautiful clean, cozy cabin!

Our stay truly felt like home away from home! LOVED getting to bring my pup along with us.💚The home is super clean and has numerous amenities/accommodations available for guests to use. Beds are also very comfortable! Absolutely loved drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings and getting to watch the wildlife in the neighborhood. This was a wonderful place to come home to and relax after long days of adventure. The hosts were also wonderful–they were very kind, helpful, and prompt in responding to messages! Loved our stay here so much that we actually ended up extending by 4 days.💚
