Beds were clean and comfortable. Rooms were quiet at night. Staff was friendly. Keyed entry was difficult to work. Small dinning space, high usage, not enough room for everyone. Would have been nicer if breakfast started earlier. Near the border of a state in a different time zone. People waited for the doors for over 30 min. Encountered persons trying to sell drugs after we checked in, a little bit of a surprise during, but they were not push when we said no.

The owners save money by (a) not replacing outdoor lights so you can run into things when exiting your room at night, and (b) unscrewing 3 of the 4 lightbulbs in the room. The room itself is up some wooden stairs - THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS - and each building appears old and unkept.

Initial rooms smelled terribly (rotten boiled eggs) and affected at least 4 rooms. Woman in room next door told me she asked to switch out due to suffering a migraine from the stench of fecal matter. Rooms should either smell of nothing or of cleaning products. While 2nd room was not smelly, alley behind felt unsafe and had empty alcohol bottles and trash strewn about. The front faced the back alley of restaurants so it was noisy and people can easily see who is entering and exiting, which made me feel exposed. No extra bolt on door for safety. Also, key cards did not work the next morning after breakfast, and when I brought issue up to staff, I was only asked the room # and no ID was checked to verify. I saw this in another review so I’m not the only one who feels that anyone can go into any room. Would definitely recommend avoiding and spending a little more on a nicer place for peace of mind.

We had an issue with our room involving very toxic fumes that made me very sick. A few of the rooms next to mine were affected also. The management was quick to put us in a better room which was appreciated for our one night stay. I could never recommend this motel for a family.

Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Was hair left in the shower and a used towel hanging on the door. We did check in early. It's located very conveniently. I got a great deal and I'm glad because i would have been mad if I had paid more. Staff was helpful.
