"We had such a lovely weekend away! Anneke was absolutely lovely and so helpful. The kids had a blast meeting all the animals and playing around the property. Anneke was kind enough to give them a tour of the property and introduce them to all the animals, and even went to the effort of setting up a scavenger hunt for them!The accommodation was perfect for our weekend away, with plenty of extra bedding and lots of toys and games for both kids and adults to enjoy. Such a welcoming, family-friendly place with lots of thoughtful little touches.Thank you, Anneke, for a wonderful stay! We all had a fantastic time and would happily come back! "

"The room was dated but was really clean and cannot complain at all with the condition or cleanliness of the room. There is no staff in reception and all was done via hotels.com. Although no issues were encountered, I did miss the personal touch of speaking to someone."

"After watching the ABC segment filmed a long time ago, it is a credit to the owners to see how lovely and relaxing the accommodation is now.The Blacksmith’s Cottage is perfect for a couple. We bought cheese and wine with us as we’d read the reviews and knew a full kitchen wasn’t included. A microwave, crockery and tea/coffee making supplies were so it was perfect. The donkeys on the property were very friendly and we managed to see the Highland cattle later in the evening. Overall a great night away and highly recommended."

"Friendly, great getaway and close to the hot springs, lovely to sit in the hot tub, watch a movie and enjoy a couple glasses of champagne, perfect night away for any couple, highly recommend"

"Wonderful friendly staff, the only thing i can fault was that due to sharing an entrance to our villa with someone else their door would slam shut every time they would arrive home and i could hear them walk up the stair case to their villa which was pretty annoying other than that it was was a great and relaxing weekend away. Definitely thinking of coming back."
