The spacious master suite features panoramic views, a queen bed, TV and private balcony perfect for relaxing and breathing in the fresh ocean air.
For the gourmet cook there is a modern fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, new stainless steel appliances and all the conveniences of home. The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If furniture was moved return it to its original location. If play pen and/or rolling beach cart were used fold them back up and return them to where they came from.
Make sure all windows are shut and blinds and drapes are closed. Make sure slide bolt on roll up garage is in locked position.
Turn down heaters to 55 degrees and make sure downstairs bathroom wall heater is turned off.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Long time friends enjoying some R&R together!

Perfect location in Pacific Grove to enjoy the beach and hiking trails. Cute little "beach cottage" and beds, towels and bedding were comfy. We did not use the kitchen other than for breakfast but it was adequate for our needs. Parking was very easy on the street except for the weekend so it was very nice to have the parking spaces included as well.

amazing location for beautiful views and beach.

We enjoyed our stay. We were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking. Also excellent dining easy walking distance. Great location to get back and forth to the Peninsula for the Women's Open at Pebble Beach.

Our Second Visit

This was our second time staying in this yellow beach house. It's perfect for our family, and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife, cool weather, and quality time as a family. We'd love to visit again if we can make it happen.

Wedding in Carmel

We stayed in Pacific Grove for a family wedding in Carmel. The house was perfect for 5 of us. The location is THE BEST and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. We'll definitely stay again.

Whales and otters

It was a family gathering to commemorate the loss of a family member and it was perfect. Great location with views of whales breaching in the distance and ear walking location. Everyone in our group said they wanted to return to the same place.

Breakfast with the otters

We began each morning with a cup of coffee sitting at the kitchen table with an amazing view of sea otters and birds in the ocean. A perfect way to start the day.

Monterey Bay Delight

Comfortable, centrally located, quaint, beachy. A lot going on in the street. Dog walkers, joggers, bicyclists. Kayakers, scuba, snorkeling in the water. Good place for binoculars to watch what’s going on. Inside comfortable rooms and couch. The oven was confusing to preheat and to set temp and the bbq was electric with wood pellets w/o instructions, we quasi figured it out and got our steaks cooked. Had a lovely time, hope to be back.

Location is What Makes This Property

The view and location are everything the listing represents and we loved that aspect. The home itself and difficulty reaching host were less than wonderful. Main issues were bedroom curtains don't cover windows at all, so no sleeping past sunrise if you need a dark room. Mold on the downstairs shower curtain. Host pretty much did not respond to questions through the app - had to call them directly. In looking at other guests' feedback, these are ongoing issues, and there are more. We'll definitely look for a different house on our next trip to PG.

The view is what you paid for. There is no deck or patio, just a small balcony. Owner did not provide how to get into property until after I call Vrbo. Arrival time changed from 4p to 4:30. Propane grill (now no longer on property description) did not exist, affecting meal plans. Master bedroom shades do not cover windows completely. We also discovered ants in the property. There are only 5 chairs for dining table. One couch and a lounge chair are seating for 4. Maybe better for a couple with 2 kids.

As usual this home checks all the boxes. The location is ideal for walking to the aquarium and dining. We’ve rented for several years and look forward to coming back each year. Thomas is the best host.

Perfect place near Otter Cove

My family had an amazing time staying at the Otter Cove beach house! It had beautiful views from all vantage points, and was very nice / upgraded inside the home. It was in the perfect location, a short walk to the aquarium but also next to endless peaceful / quiet beach trails with so much sea life in view (otters, seals, etc).

Perfect little place

Well located—A little smaller and less modern than expected

The location is excellent. We’ve been going to the Monterey Peninsula for years and this is fairly quiet location with stunning views and fantastic walks just outside the door. For the price, we expected a more updated decor and appliances. We also experienced a number of brownouts during our stay which may have been caused by windy weather conditions in the area or may de due to the age of the house and wiring.The house was less roomy than the photos led us to believe.
