"Kitchen amenities were abundant. Rooms all nice and plenty of toys, floats, etc.Needs: Hot water temps in Kitchen and main floor BR were inadequate..Too low for cleaning and comfort.We could not lock the sliding glass door to the back area."

"Great overall! There was not a remote for the DVR player and did not have access to cable. There were nats in the master bathroom likely from the well. We also had to make the beds for the bunk room, as they were not made upon arrival. But other than that it was very nice."

"The location is perfect, sitting right on Black Lake. A great view and wonderful spot for our nightly fires and star-gazing. The building has quite a bit of nostalgia for our Gen X group, reminding us how motels used to be years ago. The kitchen area was big enough for our group when we wanted to be together indoors, and the covered area outside was very large as well. All around a great location and when we are in the area in the future, we will surely be looking to stay here again!"

"The cottage on Pine Lane at Hemlock Hills was a perfect little piece of heaven for us! Perfect place to unplug and spend time in nature with your loved ones. The path to the river and the swing were our favorite! We had coffee there every morning. Thank you to Tammy and Mitchell for everything!"

"We traveled from Chicago area to stay at this rental. 2 adults, 2 teens, and our dog. House was roomy for the 4 of us. The view is stunning. Listening to the waves while sitting in backyard or on the beach was so relaxing. House was clean and has plenty of kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The beach is all rocks and crushed shells. In the actual water it's a rocky bottom as far as eye can see. You could technically go in with water shoes but it's slippery. A minute up the road by vehicle, is a sandy beach but again rocky bottom but rocks not as large. Easier to get in. Water is a bit too frigid for me to go in beyond my feet. The teens didn't mind. Star gazing was spectacular at this property and we saw the Milky Way. We enjoyed the volleyball court in backyard and fire pit. The one neighbor was nice too, he stopped by to introduce himself and offered firewood if we needed it, but we already had some. Our dog enjoyed the property too. There is dog bowls and a dog bed. They provide 1 towel per guest. We also brought our own towels. Stores/restaurants are about 15 to 20 minutes away. Downtown Cheboygan is nice. We drove to Mackinac Bridge over to St. Ignace, about 30 mins away.We loved the house and property. Sad to leave but would definitely return if the opportunity comes again."

"This was one of the cutest cottages I’ve seen. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Check in was a breeze and the place was spotless and oh, so adorable. We didn’t want to leave. It was fabulous. I would definitely recommend."

"We loved having a place right on the water and our kids loved having access to the kayaks. Our host, Mitch, was very responsive to the message we left him and took care of our one issue we had on the same day. Check in and out was a breeze, and we had a great stay while we visited Michigan."
