"Older motel but very nice. Comfortable room and bed. Great location near parks and bike trail. Also perfect for sightseeing in the area, near lots to do. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was okay but many restaurants close by. Really enjoyed my stay and staff helped with recommendations."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Ocqueoc. Penny was a fantastic host, and the cabin is adorable. We stayed for a week, and it was quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. We had a space for our fishing boat and a place to keep our boat trailer. Very clean cabin! It was a fantastic getaway, and our pups loved it there too! Only a 20 minute drive to towns, but it feels like you are in the middle of nature."

"It is a beautiful property and easily accommodated the seven of us! The home is well stocked and provided everything needed to enjoy the lake and the property. The photos truly do not do it justice! Sheila is an excellent host and provided lots of information about what to do in the area."

"Our week on the beach in Roger's City was absolutely perfect in every way. The hosts were flexible, accommodating, and responsive with our requests and questions about the property. Expectations on arriving and departure were easy and appropriate, unlike other places we've rented. The view from the upper balcony is mesmerizing. We enjoyed almost every meal outside, enjoying the view and sound of the Great Lake. The view from the sandy beach was also spectacular, and we couldn't pull ourselves away to do much else in the area. A few days, we never left the house, except for a walk on the beach to the lighthouse, or a run around the neighborhood. It was quiet, private, and the house was CLEAN and QUIET.It was a quick, easy trip (1hr) to the ferry to Mackinac, and a quick drive home back for dinner once we were done exploring the island for the day. We already considering booking for next summer, and a winter trip for some skiing and winter lake viewing! Thank you for a dream vacation spot!Also, cool geography feature of this beach, you can actually watch the sun rise and set over the water!!"
