"While the view was absolutely breathtaking the inside of the cabin lacked the “luxury” that was advertised. The jacuzzi tub did not work and there was enough hot water to fill up about half of it. The light in the kitchen was blinking about to burn out, the heat was not consistent and the lock on the sliding glass door was broken and remedied with a shower curtain rod. That said, we enjoyed our stay, just wouldn’t pay the “luxury” price had we known there was a lack of upkeep. "

"We fish the rivers in forks every year. This year we got married on the Sol Duc. First time at the lodge and was perfect. We really appreciate the remoteness and loved the cats and chickens Someone was available for questions via text. No problems getting in contact with them. Will def be back"

The beds are comfortable and the house has been updated nicely. The view from the house is gorgeous, the lot is very private and you can walk to the river. "It felt like there was poor communication. And it seems like its not clear that this is a shared space. Other guests there were also surprised that this is much more like a hostal than a lodge. There is no kitchen and no cell service, and the wifi is so slow its unusable. There is also no tv. They sell firewood onsight but its expensive so get some in forks if you plan on having a fire. "
