Welcome to Lake Country Lookout! Relax, unwind while viewing the infamous Kalamalka Lake with its serene blue green waters. Our guest suite is situated amongst a variety of attractions and destinations.

As well, we can accommodate boat parking on our property with nearby boat launch.

We are 15 minutes drive from Kelowna International Airport, 35 minutes from downtown Kelowna and 20 minutes from downtown Vernon. We look forward to your visit!

Kal Lake retreat

Great location to all activities: biking, paddle boarding, hiking. A park, small neighbourhood shop, restaurant, fruit stand and food truck are all a short walk away. Fantastic one bedroom apartment. Clean, functional and well designed. It had everything we needed for making our own meals. Based at this accommodation, we had a great stay exploring the area.

We had a very memorable stay with an unforgettable view of Lake Kalamalka!! 2 minute drive to the lake was great. Could probably walk it in 5 minutes. The hosts were very personable. Extraordinarily clean. Will definitely return very soon. Thank you Sat and Nina. 🙏🙏🤗🤗

Great location

We totally enjoyed the location and the place was clean and as described. We especially loved sitting out on the patio overlooking the lake. The only negative for us was the inability to control the temperature of the living space, especially the bedroom. For most folks the temperature probably would be just fine, for us it was warmer than what we are used to for sleeping. Adding a fan would help. Big picture, the temp was a minor inconvenience and not a deal breaker.

This rental was everything we needed. It was a beautiful new house, felt private and had a beautiful view! The hosts were there when we needed them but they let us enjoy our stay. We would love to come back, and would definitely recommend to other guests!

The location is great and the suite was a good size for me and my 13-year-old daughter, but overall the stay was disappointing. The owners live upstairs, and the office is in the basement right beside the suite, so there was little privacy. No blinds, no fan, and it was hot at night. The worst part was a loud party on a Tuesday night that went on until 11 pm, with people yelling and banging right outside our bedroom door—very unsettling. For over 1,300 for three nights, this felt extremely unprofessional. In short: great location and a space that worked for us, but the lack of privacy, comfort issues, and especially the basement party made this a poor experience overall.

Great spot

The place was spotless and lots of room for my wife and I. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect location for our golf getaway. Kal Lake just a block away for paddle boarding and cooling off. Nina was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location!

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights -Aug.7th-14, 2022. The unit was exactly as advertised with a beautiful patio and a gorgeous view of Kalamalka Lake and Wood Lake. It is very clean and modern inside. Nina was very responsive to any of our requests. Both Nina and Sat checked with us to make sure our stay was going well. We had a very enjoyable holiday and highly recommend this property!

I would stay here again in a heart beat! ♥️ Both Nina and her husband were very attentive to our needs/questions. Very helpful. The suite was immaculate in cleanliness, and the view of the truly turquoise lake was invigorating! We loved this location! Close to several beaches and parks, both quiet and calm street. Great, brand new suite in central location

We really enjoyed our short stay in Nina's Oyama suite. The outside space with the fire pit is a great touch. Suite is brand new, thoughtfully designed and sparkling clean. The only thing to be aware of is that the heat/ac is shared with the main property, but Nina was very considerate about letting us know to contact her if we were uncomfortable. Would recommend.
