We were never able to communicate with the flat owner . We needed a fresh supply of clean bed linen and towels as our stay was for 3 weeks, We found his unwillingness to help us with this problem to be very disappointing especially as the tiny flat had no laundry facilities. Also on our arrival at 4 p.m. the flat was still not ready but kind neighbours in the flat downstairs took us in. The neighbourhood is in the process of gentrification but it is quiet and safe . It is not near the Iffley Road as Kasim told us initially but is off Cowley Road which is very busy but has excellent bus service and very helpful bus drivers
Nice flat for a few day stay in Oxford. Short walk to bus stop, walkable (10 min) to local grocery. Kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils. If making any meals - plan on bringing or purchasing all necessary ingredients. Nice that it is a second story so windows could be left open. Advertised parking spot very close to a hedge, especially if middle vehicle is not parked too far over, but there is a spot which is nice. Building is quiet. Very clean and comfortable.
