"A great no-frills place for a few nights in this brilliant town. We stayed one night to visit the magical De Barra's and ate an Egyptian meal at a small place nearby. All good -- will stay here again"

"We loved sitting in the lobby waiting to meet up with family. And the food was delicious. But the staff was exceptional. They were very accommodating and made our stay very comfortable (I was traveling with my 91-year old mother). And she cannot wait to go back next year!"
"Staff were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of selection. Free parking. Noce facility and surrounding gardens.
Only thing I thought could have been better was the shower head (didnt work properly) and cleanliness of the bathroom. On a scale of 1/10 I'd give it a 7. Other than that everything was excellent. "
"The stay was a real pleasure.
The food options, particularly at breakfast, which used every day, were excellent.
The room was very spacious and comfortable.
The service was friendly, helpful and welcoming."
"Admar cottage is in a quiet and peaceful location next to the owners’ house just outside Kilbrittain. The area has beautiful beaches and coastline. In addition, the nearby town of Kinsale is vibrant with 2 interesting forts to visit. The house itself has been decorated to a high specification and with attention to detail. It had everything we needed and we were very comfortable there. I had a couple of questions for the owner before we arrived and she was very helpful, answering quickly and clearly. She was able to accommodate us well. She also welcomed us to the cottage and was a reassuring but unobtrusive presence if we had any questions about the house or area. All in all, we had a comfortable and welcoming stay."
A perfectly reclaimed cottage with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean....
10/10 Excellent
"The photos of this cottage are beautiful and when you arrive you will not be disappointed as the cottage truly is that beautiful and the scenery around the cottage is even better. On arrival the cottage just feels like a home you can relax in and is extremely clean. It had lots of comforts that two teenagers enjoyed such as hot-chocolate, marshmallows, comfy sofas and a window seat that was highly coveted to enjoy the ocean view.....of course teenagers would not be happy without good WiFi which the cottage thankfully had.The kitchen is truly well equipped should you wish to cook or simply make a coffee that accompanies the delicious homemade bread and cookies. The scenery is beautiful and within a few mins walk you are on a cliff looking onto the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is set beside a working farm and John was able to take time out to demonstrate how to milk cows which was great fun.We made use of the available BBQ and fire to cook pizza in the evening and when the temperature dropped we could simply move into the Garden Room and enjoy the views through the window. There's a well stocked store in Barryroe that is about 10 mins away. For larger stores you would need to visit Clonakilty which has a number of options but definitely check out the Scally's SuperValue and note there is a carpark behind the store which we only discovered on the last day.
