The property was old and needed a facelift badly. The rooms were clean and roomy. The kitchenette was a good feature making it economical for a young family with children to stay for a few days with the lake just down the road..
The guy at the desk even though I already booked had no idea...the place was dirty. I asked for a good restaurant he told me to get the Indian food at the gas station. It took forever to cool the room down. I paid...when we left the key like he said chased us out of the parking lot. That idiot needs some sense....the room was paid for we were great even with the stupid conditions. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The property was very rundown. The room was not clean. There was a broken window. Glass was one the night table. I also found a piece of broken cup on the floor. I could have stepped on it if I had not seen it. The bedding was not clean at all. Very concerned about bugs. The bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain and stall were filthy. This was room 1. This motel aslo has rat traps all behind the building. This property should not even be open. Very very disappointing place.
At least there were no bugs. It was dingy dirty and had a strange odour coming from around the fridge. You could tell recent repairs were made, but it needs more. Definately not worth the money.
I wasn't here for the room, I was here for the beach. It did everything it should. The beds were on the firm side for my taste and the stovetop refused to work, This was not an issue because we dined out for our meals and the staff is more than willing to help, I just didn't ask...... I recommend bring your own towels and blankets.... but if you want a reasonable cheap place to stay, and you aren't super fussy, this is your place. Pool is well maintained.
Road access torn up; had to walk in to check out; no towels in room; amenties in room last changed 2018; tv screens worked well late at night; bed shhets clean, counters passable; but could not wait to vacate the premises...
Price point about 40-50 per day too much, but it allowed pets; will research better for next time...
in other words, Kincardine yes; Kincardinite Motel no...
The owner was very friendly, happy and tried to be helpful.
Check in was off the property but we didn’t know ahead of time so we spent time waiting at the property.
The space was not clean. The stove did not work. Everything seemed updated and new so I was surprised the stove didn’t work. A note to the owner would be to retrain or hire new housekeeping. Dirty washroom and kitchen. Microwave and fridge needed to be cleaned as well as cupboards and surfaces.
This place has so much potential but needs more care with sanitation.
EXCELLENT location steps away from an amazing beach and a 2 min drive to down town which is beautiful.
The bed sheet was full of hair, seemed like it was not cleaned before we check in. The front manager was very friendly, he gave us new bedsheets as soon as we asked. The garbage was not emptied before we checked in. Overall cleanliness needs to improve.
Room had a really bad smell linens didn't seem washed, extremely dated, broken sofa, empty bottles of soaps others used were still in the bathroom just digusting!!
The worst place we have ever stayed, can’t believe we did not back out.
The building itself is a tear down. Dirty and extremely neglected.
Small coffee maker, had to wash, with my own soap, scratch pad found in water portion, left behind. No cups, open broken bent screen on windows. Kitchen cupboards falling off cabinets.
Can of cigarette butts at door of room.
This Motel should be shut down, not allowed to book.
Location near the beach is the ONLY thing going ..the building has fallen on bad times. Not updated features. Cobwebs, mold, dirty floors , cracked and stained furniture. The owners have done nothing to keep the property in acceptable condition. The staff is poor and were absent from property for hours. Room overpriced. I left after first night and forfeited one paid night it was so bad. No refund offered. I asked staff to review the state of the room with me to understand my complaints. They refused. When absent from site, I phoned number posted on office door to ask they return and deal with the issues and they kept promising to come but did not. It took expedia staff intervention to get them to return hours after my calls.
the rooms were not cleaned to our satisfaction. We booked 2 rooms, one of which was supposed to have 2 beds, which it didn't. They only gave us the key for 1 room at time of check in and told us the other room would be open when we went back. The room was open, but no key to lock up with if we chose to go back out.
If your looking to be dissapointed this is the spot for you. Uncleaned bathroom. Dirty loufa in shower. Bed on wheels. Couldnt get a recipt. Pool was lime green.

Motel of a certain era. Self catering.
Filled my needs for an overnight stay for a reasonable price.
Worst motel I have EVER stayed in
I travel nearly every weekend and stay in hotels and motels
This was a complete nightmare
No WiFi
No air conditioning
Dirty beds, no towels
When I arrived nobody came to assist in check in for 30-40 mins
I asked about the WiFi and nothing happened the gentleman there had no manners and kept saying his English wasn’t good
It was terrible
Rooms smelt really bad
Dust and stains everywhere
Toilet supplies half used
And no room cleaning service
When I complained the guy just got aggressive

The only thing I liked was having Air Conditioning... Reception office was not great, not very official and professional.
