"This is a wonderful home in the woods, quiet and relaxing. We loved the eating porch, and very much appreciated the field glasses as we spent hours watching the young osprey. There was plenty of room for our group and the location is great, right in MidCoast while still feeling very isolated and private."

"The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy."

"We loved our stay at this property. We stayed here with our two children, 11 and 12 and there was something for everyone. It is so peaceful. You wake up to beautiful lake views and there is no noise. It is close to Boothbay and there are lots of day trips in easy reach. The property is spacious and well stocked. They even supply binoculars which I used daily to watch the wildlife. We even saw a bald eagle fighting an osprey over the lake on the last morning! It was huge! There are birds, red squirrels and chipmunks in the garden.There are kayaks with the property and going on those is lots of fun.The host is extra helpful and responsive. Book this house - you'll be pleased you did."

"This house is beautiful and the area is very relaxing. We had 1 problem with the grill, reached out to the owner and heard back in just a few minutes. The house was very clean and well stocked. The view was amazing and the hot tub a nice perk. We hope to stay again."

"This cottage is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern upgrades. The view of the river is incredible, and the secluded location is just a short drive from downtown Wiscasset and Edgecomb. The sunroom is already a great place to hang out and enjoy the river view, but the owners are also putting in a lot of work to create an enjoyable outdoor space. Jeffrey is easy to work with and honestly wants you to have a good stay."
