"Loved the view. We saw eagles & sea otters from our window. Could hear the waves. Truly amazing. Would have been nice to have blackout shade but it wasn't there. Great location. Owners were great! Bed was comfortable. Barn door bathroom door so not much privacy in that way but we would still stay again."

"All Staff was super responsive and very sweet to work with. (Breakfast staff, front desk, maintenance etc) We left an item in the room and they called us but we were 2-3hrs away. They worked with us to get the item shipped back to our home. So very thankful for their honesty and willingness to take the time to ship it to us. The room had 3 beds and was very large and roomy. We had no AC (it was an unusually warm day) but window opened. Only complaint was bathroom was soooooooo small and VERY dark and out of date. - other than that all else was completely fine. Beds comfortable. Please update bathroom and curtains. We only stayed one night."

"The property was in good shape for its age. Felt like a throwback to the 70’s in a good way and was well maintained and very clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome allowing us to see sea otters, bald eagles and various sea birds. We only ate one meal at the hotel during our stay which was breakfast. It was a buffet and had great choices. We never made it to the workout room or hot tub as we were too tired from our excursions. It was suggested you make a reservation for use of both of these amenities as there is limited space. Great location at the very end of the Homer spit with lots of history you could read about on the walls of the hallways. Plenty of towels and good water pressure. Great mattress in a king suite. Would stay at Landsend again if I make it back to AK"

"The apartment is part of an innovative two-unit home built from shipping containers. It is lavishly furnished and beautifully decorated, and was very comfortable. There were some minor design oversights, like installing the microwave too high; but we would happily stay there again. Nice, quiet neighborhood, too."

"I cannot recommend Alaska Adventure Cabins highly enough. Evelyn, the owner, communicated with me consistently for the past six months leading up to my trip, which made planning from across the country feel easy and stress-free. When I arrived, everything was exactly as promised — spotless, welcoming, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The cabin had everything I needed, from wine glasses to the hot tub, and it immediately felt like a place where I could truly relax and settle in rather than just “stay.” The view was absolutely unbelievable. Waking up each morning and looking out at snow-capped mountains and Kachemak Bay was one of the highlights of my entire Alaska trip. The setting felt peaceful, private, and quintessentially Alaskan. You can tell Evelyn genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a beautiful experience. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Homer."
