"I absolutely love this private and comfortable little apartment above a WONDERFUL bookshop. Just a few blocks to a large grocery, short walk to bakeries and restaurants, art gallery, and near the water and wetland walks. The kitchen is well equipped and I had guests for dinner once and lunch another time. Bed is very comfy. Everything is clean and wellstocked. I was so surprised when I arrived to find a bowl of fresh fruit, a box of scones and a vase of cut flowers on the table. Plenty of coffee! I felt like an old friend had been expecting me! I wish I'd booked another week, not just one. I had to locate the Post Office because I got carried away shopping downstairs at the bookshop in the Alaskana and cookbook sections. I didn't get to meet Sally but had a couple good visits with Andy and found some lovely art by their daughter Oceania at a nearby gallery. I couldn't have dreamt a sweeter place to spend a week in Homer."

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. The bathroom was spacious with a nice shower and the bed was very comfortable. It would be nice to have drawers to put clothes in and better space for hanging items. I also didn't realize that the hot tub has to be reserved and can only be used when the spa is open. The Continental breakfast consisted of granola bars, packets of oatmeal and fruit cups. Each guest gets to choose one item, so it's not much of a breakfast."

"Helpful staff, super nice and great property was clean. Room was super small and the communal bathroom leaves a little to be desired. Staff 👍 cleanly property and view amazing 👍 amenities/bathroom sharing and smallest hotel room Ive ever been in....for over $100 a night I expect a little more👎"
