Right next to the port. Really clean rooms, particularly the bathrooms. Very helpful. Stayed one night after getting off the late ferry from Portsmouth. I had a problem with my car getting off the ferry. I had to hire a car for my onward journey. The hotel let me use their car park (which was secure and safe - Gated) to store my car until I came back to catch the ferry a few days later. They arranged a taxi for me to the airport to pick up the hire car. I cannot thank them enough for letting me do that. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right by the ferry port

It was a fantastic choice for spending the night after getting off the ferry late at night. Small room but clean, good bed, nice sheets, good breakfast, pleasant staff, free parking. What’s not to like?

Good hotel for the money, food wasn’t bad. Had the evening meal from the set menu. Burnt a slick operation and the staff don’t hang around! Very good for the Ouistreham Ferry.

A disappointing stay this time (stayed a few times previously). Extremely rude young lady on reception, more interested in her phone than customers. Very poor breakfast, minimal choice. Would recommend ibis Caen Porte d'Angleterre instead, were weve also stayed, far superior in comparison. That said, if you just need a bed for the night very close to the port, this hotel in Ouistreham is in a perfect location, right opposite the port. This would be the only reason we'd stay here again.

Short break to Normandy

Right next to ferry port so very easy to find. Rooms basic but good enough for 2 people. if you want to watch TV there are no English channels. Breakfast was fine for a continental one and is included in the price. Small charge for secure car parking. However it wasn't that secure as one morning when i was leaving to visit some D day locations we found a migrant in the boot of the car. He was obviously trying to get to the UK and thought that's where we were going. This is a big problem in this location and you will find migrants in every car park trying to stow away in your car to cross to the UK. My advice is check your boot before attempting to board ferry especially if you have parked up anywhere before boarding. The hotel is perfect for visiting all the D day location which was the purpose of our 2 night stay there.

Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was a good assortment, although there were many comments overheard from the guests if you didn't get breakfast early enough all the hot food was gone. I thought the room was quite expensive as it was basic, but I guess you are paying for the location if you need an overnight stay before any long drive to the rest of France.
