I had pros and cons, but I liked that they are renovated and carpets are clean. Room was spacious for the level of the hotel. Conveniently located in shopping area. that is pros. We enjoyed using pool and gym facility. Breakfast was decent. It was thanksgiving week, and there was no cleaning service on Thanksgiving day, which is understandable. Hotel worker gave us free snack coupon, that was nice, and she was friendly. We stayed 4 nights, and the first full day was Thanksgiving, and the second day, we spent most of the day in the room, so we didn't have any cleaning service. on the third day which is the last full day, we needed the cleaning so bad. When we were getting ready to go out, cleaning lady came and I told her that we are leaving in 10 minutes, so please come back later. She said, " I will swing back." so I was happy. But when we came back from outing, I saw she didn't do anything with our room. That was disappointing. So, we didn't get any cleaning during our 4-night stay. My room was on the 4th floor and Internet connectivity was a problem. I tried with my cell phone and computer, but both of them took long time to get to the login page. If you have this problem, connect your phone or computer on the first floor first. It may help the connectivity. I kept hearing the sound like water going through the pipe. That bothered me. My husband said that is soothing to him, but it wasn't to me. Check out was easy. That was good.

First, the good things: it's in a good location with ample parking. Taken as a whole, it seemed clean and in good condition. The breakfast area was nice; seating was spacious, pretty good offerings, and it was clean and well kept up. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. There were ample towels and the bathroom was well appointed. It was pretty quiet as well. Now, the negatives. The room seemed mostly clean, but as if it was really well cleaned recently but then maybe used lightly since then. There were crumbs by the coffee machine. Since you see that as soon as you walk in, that's a turnoff. The shower was bright white tile, so the huge curl of black body hair on the wall really stood out. Like, Helen Keller probably could have seen it. The shower itself was great after I rinsed that away and tried to pretend it never happened. I also have a real pet peeve with hotels that can't supply one or two bottles of water per room. It's like, $0.25-50 per bottle. You're charging $250-350 per room per night. It screams corporate greed and stinginess. The HVAC didn't work. The staff was not friendly, bordering on hostile. Except one male desk clerk who was pleasant, and one maintenance man who was very warm, friendly and greeted us enthusiastically every time we saw him, who was honestly the best part of this hotel. This hotel isn't providing the level of service you'd expect for a place asking $350/night on a Saturday in Oswego. Won't stay again.

I booked a 2 queen suite, and was given a single king and there were no doubles available. Unfortunately the person I’m staying with had to sleep on a rolling cot, which was not what we expected or what we paid for considering I booked a 2 queen suite. No other compensation was offered beside a cot.
