"Our 4 night stay at the Residence Club Barbara was perfect, the apartment was clean and had everything needed. The lady in reception was very nice and really helpful. We were very early in the season, so only 2 restaurants open and 1 small grocery store. A frequent bus service to Ostuni town or train station meant that we were never short of things to do. We were able to visit Bari, Lecce and other towns great train service "

"We absolutely loved our stay here, it is one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The airline had lost our bags en route and we showed up tired and frustrated from that experience but the hotel staff were so welcoming and kind that we soon snapped out of it. Marilyn in particular was especially helpful in helping us navigate the airline’s lost baggage system and even took it over for us, calling each day and speaking with them (our Italian is terrible). Staff at weren’t very friendly when needed assistance with things and failed to make a dinner reservation when I asked them to. They weren’t able to seat me at the restaurant. Staff didn’t seem to like English speaking guests and found us more a nuisance. "

"We had a wonderful 5-day stay in Ostuni. Rocca Giulia is a an incredible home, beautifully designed by Massimo. The apartment was perfect and we had the property to ourselves for most of our stay. It is an easy walk into town and the supermercato. The pool was beautiful, and the views from the villa are amazing. The kitchen is small and basic, and it would be great to have an extra table/trolley in the kitchen to create more preparation space. Also, having some basics like olive oil/balsamic...

"It was an amazing property, our only issue was that dining was lacking. It wasn't good as the menu was very limited and there were no snacks or a tuck shop available. The pizza restaurant was available but we didn't like the pizza. there should be more menu choices and food availability from take out."
