I had to come home to have a good nights sleep
Probably the worst experience staying a hotel in terms of the noise from the building site next door. Which started at 730am every morning bar Sunday! Basically I had to come home to get a relaxing lay in. The hotel must know about this but there was no warning! Breakfast was good and plenty of choice, location perfect and the employees I interacted with were great. But you can't have that sort of noise!

Fantastic location close to all main areas, great breakfast choices, all areas nice and clean. Bedroom was small but had everything you need. Tea and coffee facilities in room would have been a nice option. Breakfast area can get very busy at times, we did have to delay breakfast for 30 mins today as there were no seats available even in the overflow area but no drama.

Despite being in the city centre this was a pleasant and quiet hotel. The room was basic but more than enough as a sightseeing base. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent. Definitely a hidden treasure and one worth revisiting as so close to the railway station for links around Norway and the airport

Great hotel with excellent location near the central station. Andy was great at check in and easy to store bags safely. Fabulous food for breakfast and excellent staff who were all very helpful.

The location was great, the rooms were comfortable though only serviced every four days. The breakfast, however, was a bit lacklustre when it came to hot options for vegetarians, particularly when other places offer waffles and pancakes (not everyone likes eggs)

The hotel was conveniently placed for access into the city centre. Comfortable beds. Only one lift was working for most of my stay. The hotel had to be evacuated early one morning due to a fire alarm. There seemed to be no guidance from hotel staff during that time. The area where residents collected was very close to the building, but no information seemed to be available regarding a nominated collection point. This was a cause for some concern.

The room and toilet were huge but just functional. But there was no safe, no phone and no kettle in the room. Breakfast was very good.

Hi,Thank you for leaving us a review.Comfort Hotel have removed all uneccesery utilities as in phone, minibar and kettle to make the price for the rooms cheaper. We do have a kettle and a fridge in the breakfast area that you can use during your next stay with us.We wish you a great day!

This hotel is in a prime location. No cars can travel down the streets so is all pedestrians walking which is nice The room was nice and clean. Bathroom was pretty small shower looked remodeled but the other half was outdated The free breakfast was really good and a lot yo choose from. But during the week it ends at 9:30. We were told 11 and missed it one day It was decorated like a fiber in some areas and had a bat on the patio that was really cool Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again.

It took two days for the staff to empty the trash from previous guests. It tries to have a cool hostel vibe but falls short as only an over-priced rundown property with zero personality.

Great staff. Large buffet breakfast every morning was fantastic. Central location - walking distance to shops, dining, port, museums. Would definitely stay here next trip.

Great location and wonderful hotel.
Comfort Hotel Karl Johan was the perfect hotel. Great location very near Oslo Central train station with easy access to trains, trams, and buses all over the city. Tons of shopping and dining options steps from the hotel. We arrived early and were asking to store our luggage but they were actually able to let us check in early, which was extremely nice so we could freshen up from our flight before we started our day in the city. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with both hot and cold buffet items. Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We did utilize the luggage storage on the day we checked out, and that was easy as well. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
