The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The property is clean and the room is comfortable. It is very close to the train station and walking distance to Namba and Dotonbori.

The property was clean and the hotel had a lovely lobby. They gave us plenty of towels throughout our 4 day stay. The laundry facilities in the building were convenient. The room was smaller than what I expected. I also expected the property to be in the Namba neighborhood but we had to take a train to go the shopping center in Namba.

Excellent hotel, quiet, clean, close to station, close to Namba, good breakfast. Only let down by failure to do my laundry as requested and did not inform me that they have guest laundry facilities

The location is not optimal, with a pachinko and a large parking area next to it. The hotel itself was nice and clean, and the price is reasonable.

Big room and bath the toilet is separate from the bath so it’s big for Japanese standards, breakfast buffet was good service was excellent from the front desk to housekeeping only downside is not really near a subway /train but otherwise a great stay

Quite spacious and good location. When we checked out we left a mobile phone behind, received a message on Expedia from the hotel about the phone and they kept it for us until we came back. Good experience overall. Also offer halal breakfast menu

A good stay
Comfy bed, quiet, good room amenities, good breakfast, 700m (10 mins walking) from Namba parks. Hotel just right beside Kurasushi.... Rooms on the small side though...but when u are in Japan...u spend more time out enjoying the sights, sounds and food..and its good to come back to a quiet and comfy room.

The location is good, just a few minutes' walk from the metro station. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness condition of the room is quite a problem. There is a lot of dust in the room, e.g. on the top of the TV cupboard, on the back panel of the bed, etc. And there is also a kind of musty smell in the room that is very unpleasant to the occupants.

Excellent, friendly staff with a great reception area. Handy to subway, convenience stores, restaurants and shopping areas . Comfortable, spacious rooms so many little extras that we really appreciated. Loved the breakfast. This hotel may be aimed at business market but it certainly suits other travellers, too. Recommended!

Good but needs to improve .
Some breakfast food still not hot enough, Some food amount left in the tray is very little. The toilet bowl smells bad. Sounds like the foreign worker works not properly because the floor towel mixed the bath towels on the rack.Looks lack of supervision.

Hotel is near restaurants & grocery, you can walk to Namba shopping area only 10-15 min. Train station is less than 5 min from hotel

Good Business Class Hotel
A pretty decent Business Hotel, located near Daikokucho station. It is just about 10 minutes walk from Namba Nankai station, which is very convenient to come from Kansai airport. Room size is just fine and it has a good sized toilet with bathtub. Breakfast buffet has good options and being a vegetarian, I was able to choose cereal, salad, bread rolls, etc.

All the goods in a nice neighborhood
Totally amazing. The staff was very friendly, room was excellent, nice area close to public transport. We stayed for 6 nights and couldn't have picked a better place. Thank you Richmond Hotel!

The overall experience staying at this hotel is nice. The staffs are very friendly. However the room is a little dusty. The conditions of the bathroom did not meet my expectations, the toilet smells like public restroom. The location of this hotel is off to major tourist attractions. There are multiple convient stores within 5mins wall.

Mr. Ueno was very rude. We go to Japan about three times a year. In the past we have never had a experience of such rudeness. Will not be returning to that hotel again. Very disappointing. It didn’t happen to me but I witnessed what he did to these other guests.

Good hotel with nice room and bathroom
We stayed around new year. The hotel is 20 min walk to closest JR station, and 10 mins from daikokucho station. Nearby has market and many food. And namba is walking distance away. Room is better compared to the other 3star hotel. Pillow is nice and bed is ok.

Not the best hotel I've stayed in Japan but good overall. Location is convenient, subway station about 3 minutes walk. Unfortunately I made a mistake booking a smoking room and the hotel was not able to accommodate to a non smoking one.
