"This is an amazing place to stay! The house and and surrounding community are beautiful. The house is clean and well stocked, the area is very pet friendly, and the pool and beach areas are both really nice. We absolutely loved the covered veranda. Anyone bringing a boat should know you can't park your boat trailer on site and will likely have to pay to store it, and you will also have to pay for a boat slip. Also check when the lake is being treated for weeds as swimming isn't advised for a couple of days. The restaurant by the beach is excellent and reasonably priced. There are lots of fun family activites and things to do, and everyone we encountered was really friendly. Overall, this is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the lake and surrounding area, we highly recommend it!"
"Overall it was a great house that fit all of our families’ needs. It’s a beautiful property on an even more beautiful lake! Our one issue was we weren’t told we needed to make a parking reservation for our boat trailer before arriving. "
"Nice large home for our extended family. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and dock in the evenings. You can swim right out front, but if you're looking for a bit more sandy beach, there are 2 great parks nearby, one within walking or paddle boarding distance. House was well stocked and AC kept the house nice and cool."
"We had an excellent stay! The cottage was super cute and well appointed - our favorite thing was the screened in porch! Easy walk to the lake and the Point restaurant for happy hour! Everyone in our group agreed on the 5 star rating! "
"The cottage was lovely, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property and the entire resort are "dog friendly," which is the primary reason we chose the Firerock cottage. We enjoyed a number of local hikes that were recommended by the property manager and spent a long day in Canada. Very peaceful."
