The proximity to the beach is great. The rooms are smaller but that's to be expected in a B&B. The owners are very welcoming and always remember your name. We had a very nice stay.
This property is so quaint and adorable! The rooms are decorated so nicely and everything you could need for your stay has been anticipated. Extremely clean and well kept!

Very interesting place
Very interesting place. The location was exceptional with Nauset Beach within walking distance along with Pricilla Landing. Room was nice, however, a dormer took up half of it which made that part of the room unusable except for a TV. I did not have my own bathroom, bath towels were not replaced and it also wasn’t cleaned. I did receive one set of towels if I put used ones out. They had an excellent breakfast each morning that was available for a couple of hours. Small breakfast area and a sitting area outside. Grounds were very nice with a pool, which I didn’t use. Excellent, very small staff, so very one knows your name….Overall, very pleasant experience. Next time I’ll ask for a different type of room, if it’s available. It was almost like a very expensive boarding house. It was pricey, but it’s all about location, location, location.
An absolute gem on Cape Cod! We had a lovely stay! Enjoying the afternoon snacks at check in, walking to Nauset Beach, swimming in the pool, the comfort of our room, the fire at night time, and the beautiful breakfast in the morning! A relaxing and peaceful stay.
The hosts, Peter and Denise, are SO welcoming and helpful!! We felt like part of a large extended family staying with them. They serve a delicious continental breakfast, with tea, water, fruit and snacks available all day. The beach is walking distance; the pool is lovely!! We rented kayaks and bicycles in town. There is much to explore at the national seashore and locally, the hosts have much to share and recommend, and we enjoyed their suggestions!! I can appreciate why 65% of visitors return.
A relaxing spot close to beaches and good restaurants. Great breakfast bar, good healthy selections. Staff were friendly and responsive. Room was very small and dark, bed too soft for our backs but overall a pleasant stay.

Ship’s Knees Inn is a beautiful property run by lovely people. We truly enjoyed both patios for breakfast and nighttime fun around the fire pit; the excellent pool at the end of hot days; and the fresh and well-kept grounds (flowers everywhere.) The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the significant drawbacks of our very tiny room: the bed was a super uncomfortable big marshmallow (we didn't sleep well during our entire visit); the walls were embarrassingly thin; and it was dark throughout the day. This room might best be used as a storage area; certainly not worth the cost. In any case we'd return to this Inn and request a better room.
What a wonderful stay I had! The property is beautiful and clearly well cared-for, and a short walk from the beach. It’s nestled into a quiet part of the town which is what I was looking for. The owners are accessible, friendly, and very helpful. It was so easy to follow the instructions for contactless check-in and check-out. The breakfast spread was simple but satisfying, just what I needed. My room was small but the furniture was arranged very nicely to make the most of it. My two complaints are: first, the room often felt damp despite the AC, though that’s likely explained by the orientation of that room in particular and the weather that week; and teeny tiny bugs invited themselves in by the window two nights of my stay—again, likely due to the orientation of the room and the damp weather. Neither of these issues prevented me from thoroughly enjoying my stay. I will absolutely look to stay there again next time I come out!
Easy check in & out. Everything is as advertised. Clean, great location for beach walking distance. Owners Peter & Denise go out of their way to make you feel welcome!
With Covid-19 restrictions in place the stay was a bit different. I appreciated the extra precautions taken to provide a safe and quaint time. The place is charming and the grounds are beautiful. Beach is short walk away and is very nice. It’s peaceful and worth the trip
The Inn was in excellent shape for its age. Peter the owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Had a delightful two nights. Definitely would return. Cathy and Dan N.Y.
The location is a gift. So close to the most wonderful places on the Cape. Their property is charming and so lovingly maintained. The breakfast is fab fab fab. So inspirational that I’m even doing breakfasts for friends based on her recipes. Loved being there in a storm, love a good storm. I’m a Cape Codder. Will be coming here for years to come. Must share our secret garden with others.
The property is beautifully maintained and conveniently located. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was comfortable. Every inch of space was maximized to provide a comfortable yet cozy stay. The grounds were beautifully manicured, and the staff was attentive to our needs.
