"We love the Sound View. As a school social worker, I sometimes REALLY need to reset. There is no better place to do it than here with the most amazing views! We have been coming 3x a year with our pup. Great staff and restaurant! The hotel really tries to accommodate requests, such as a certain room number our dog has gotten used to lol. 10/10 recommend! "

"Kaylee, John and the rest of the staff were helpful and patient. We felt like we were home. My daughter and I will definitely be back here to stay. We took many pictures and videos and will tell everyone about our stay here. Having a Galley on each floor was helpful as we had everything we needed within reach. Two suggestions, maybe get a peep hole for the room doors and have a microwave in each Galley so we don’t have to ask staff to microwave anything. Other than that, we felt relaxed and staying here made our trip just perfect. Little touches such as warm breakfast croissants, the candy bar (we seriously ate so many jellybeans and m&m’s this trip lol), the game room/bar area, macaroons upon checkout….we never felt rushed or like we were a bother. Can’t say enough about our experience here. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!"

"Eric was a fantastic host, quick responses and everything was exactly as described. The house was immaculate and had literally anything you could ever think of. I stayed with a bunch of friends to celebrate a birthday and we wanted a nice relaxing weekend in. We couldnt have had a better weekend!"

"Our hosts made all of us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The home was clean, well appointed ( not fancy) and perfect for our family gathering for our son’s wedding. And our hosts even had a solution when one of our party arrived without his tuxedo jacket. "

"This was our second time renting this very special property - a wonderful private location with an amazing pool, outdoor shower, hot tub and awesome views from the front porch. There is everything you need to cook or grill a great meal. Orient is a charming village with an interesting history - and a great produce stand! Easy communications with the host.
