"We chose and confirmed a room that specified a view of the harbor. This was not a request; this was the description of the room. When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings. In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

"Matthew (spelled diff in France) was an excellent host and was quick with any questions we had about the area. We have no complaints at all! The breakfast is what we expected, room cleaned each day. One block from the marina and restaurant choices. my wife's only complaint was the French eat dinner so late! D-day festivities were close enough for a quick drive down country roads. Love the area. Will definitely stay again! "

"We were on a day trip to Cherbourg so only stayed for one night but we can highly recommend the hotel for its location and the friendliness of its staff. Our family room had everything we needed, with three beds being provided as requested. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. The bathroom was large and clean. The location is perfect and we received some excellent recommendations of places to eat. Not related to the hotel but Cherbourg itself - we expected there to be more cafes/bars...
