"The best thing about Hotel Eleo was its staff. The bed wasn't so bad either. But the worst thing was that horrible Nespresso coffee maker. When first booking the room and seeing the amenities, I ordered my favorite coffee in a Nespresso pod to use. Terrible. Foamy and bitter - no matter which brand of coffee used. But the nearness to Shands was such a plus and the availability of the shuttle service to the hospital 24/7 certainly outweighed the bad coffee. And with the Opus coffee kiosk in the hospital lobby, I was ok. I had breakfast one day and then lunch another day at the restaurant there. Both were great. And William, the bartender/server made me feel as if we were old friends. If a visit to Shands was ever in the future, I would stay at the Eleo again...but I'd pack my little Keurig! "

"Would have rated hotel a 5 except no sleep on Fri and Sat night until after 2am due to noise of bar!!!!! Great location to restaurants walking less then 1 block: Harry's, Dragonfly, OAK, BBQ chicken, Pizza place, Starbucks, ice cream shop. No parking but we knew this so ubbered everywhere. Nice pool, great staff, friendly and quick to respond to needs. So my advice is dont stay here on the weekend unless you stay up partying until 2am and ubber, dont rent a car. Continental breakfast was the best ive ever had."

"This was way too much money for the quality of hotel. The breakfast buffet was advertised as very good. They were out of hot food each morning. We were there within 20 minutes. The first morning of our stay in over 30 minutes of waiting. The eggs and sausage were not restocked. The second morning it was a little quicker but the food quality was not good! We paid around $200 per night, and the night after we left the hotel went down to the '80s. That would have been an appropriate amount"

"When we checked in the lady at the front desk was extremely nice. Got to the room, it smelled like smoke and musky. Some towels smelled, other looked dirty, the kitchen had ants all of the counter, the bathroom had no shower curtain. Breakfast was held in a 2x4 room, with maybe 4 tables and a small amount of chairs so basically forcing you to eat in your room. Only food provided was muffins, bagels, waffles banana, cereal and yogurts. The neighborhood was definitely not the cleanest and definitely looked like a sketchy area making it feel unsafe and uncomfortable. "
