Wind Drift 702E offers a splendid Gulf-front retreat in Orange Beach, Alabama, providing the perfect setting for your much-needed vacation. This exquisite 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo promises breathtaking views and comfortable accommodations for a truly memorable getaway.

Situated on the 7th floor of the East Tower, this condo showcases captivating Gulf views from its open floor plan living area. Step onto the balcony to savor the panoramic coastline and the soothing sounds of the waves. The Primary suite features a plush King bed, flat-screen TV, DVD player, private balcony access, and an ensuite bath with a tiled walk-in shower for added comfort. The Guest bedroom includes a Queen bed and Twin bed, plus a flat-screen TV and DVD player.

The living room is the perfect place to gather with a 55-inch flat-screen TV, plenty of seating, and access to free wireless internet for streaming, browsing, or sharing vacation memories. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a convenient wet bar, and everything you need for in-home dining. An LG stackable washer and dryer set provides additional convenience during your stay.

Parking
Each unit is permitted (2) vehicles maximum per stay. Guest registration is (1) per vehicle at $62.50 each. Unregistered vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. Guest registration is valid for a maximum of (7) days. Longer stays will require re-registration. Once you register you will be sent a gate code for the complex.

Unit was nice, building and elevator derailed a good vacation

This year was #12 in-a-row 4th of July at the Winddrift. Unfortunately, the least enjoyable. While the buildings are undergoing serious structural and cosmetic repair, a better move would have been shut it down, get the work done, re-open. (Like they did next door).I’ve always been the one to say “it’s ok, no problem”, there are some issues. The construction workers begin at 7am, and I’m talking serious noise and banging. One of my family members were greeted with a unit having the entire door frame repaired, at check-in time. Then the only working elevator out of 2 in SE building broke several times and was out for several hours each time. This unit being on the 7th floor, made for quite the climb (bad knees, small kids, beach chairs, groceries.) elderly visitors were crying, not being able to go down to the beach. The workers have portable toilets in the parking lot which sent an odor across the whole parking lot. Nice to walk by when you’re on your summer beach vocation. We are yearly regulars, but this may have been our last.

Great view of the beach from the balcony and an awesome boardwalk to the beach. Dolphins were visible daily and the condo is conveniently located to some great local restaurants and grocery stores.

Wonderful condo and experience. My favorite thing about this condo is that there wasn't any clutter. It was very spacious and all the counters and tables did not have anything on them which left room for all our things. I can't handle clutter this made me so happy. The only thing lacking was only one hand towel in the kitchen and no wash cloths but that's pretty minor. Will definitely try to stay here again.

Great location - amenities lacking

The condo was nice. Beautiful view. Wish some basic necessities were included. Family rented another unit and they had basics there - coffee filters, salt and pepper, decent pots and pans and utensils. More than 1 roll of TP etc. I would go here again, but wouldn’t rent this unit.

Elevators worked great. My boys enjoyed the pool when the jellyfish was in the water. I only have a couple of suggestions, 1. is to replace the living room couch and 2. have a small table to lay luggage on in the master.

False advertising

When we go to check in our room, we were not given parking passes like we were told. We then have to spend an extra $130 on parking passes just to have to park across the road. We didn’t get to check in until after 5 because our room wasn’t ready like we were told. Our shower wouldn’t drain, and the furniture on the patio had holes and you couldn’t sit outside.

Reviewer Comments: In the description of this property it was stated that no pets were allowed. However, there was pet hair EVERYWHERE! I sat down on the couch and was completely covered in pet hair. It was all over the floors in every room too. My husband and daughter both are allergic to pet hair which is why I always make sure we are staying in a pet free area. I notified management and they sent someone over to clean but it really didn’t make any difference. Pet hair is incredibly hard to remove completely. My husband and daughter were pretty miserable for 4 days :(

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival me and my wife did a walk through the dining room chairs and rug was stained with foreign substance I called liquid life they sent a lady from housekeeping to clean there was dust and papers in the bedroom on the t.v furniture . And empty Coca-Cola plastic bottles under the couch . And the bathtub in the front bathroom stayed stopped up every time you took a shower . My wife call liquid life and they sent someone out to check the Internet and Wi-Fi they couldn’t fix it so the they had to reach out to Mediacom cable people to come out so they showed up on Wednesday couldn’t fix it because they needed access to the roof of the condo and couldn’t get up with maintenance there to let them in to the roof we had a nurse with us that needed the Internet they finally got the Internet and Wi-Fi back up on that Friday the day we were leaving. we had people to come and check for hurricane pressure so on a Wednesday I stayed at the condo all day dealing with Internet people and those check it for hurricane pressure first time for everything what are vacations day . the condos floor’s was so dirty my wife had to mop them because the granddaughters feet was black from walking on the dirty floors. This is on the 7th floor it was on the beach love the view. It looks like the picture just not so clean.
