"An attractive hotel in a completely unspoilt part of rural France. Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the church. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and everything worked very well. Staff were very friendly. Both dinner and breakfast were very good, local French food, well cooked, nicely presented."

"We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! "Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"
